I figured, since we didn't have a response by 5 months, it would probably take much longer and then 12 days later we finally got it!!
I went through my checklist and noticed, we almost have everything set up!
We needed a bank statement, which Stephen got this morning!
We needed a letter that states he still wants to marry me, which I sent out to his sister and she has printed out for him to sign!
Now the only thing I need from him is the actual NOA2 letter and a letter from his employer that he is working there, at a permanent position and earns enough money to provide for me!
We will sent out the papers in a week, after Stephen gets his next check and by then the NOA2 should arrive aswell!
The next steps should be really fast and if we're lucky, I might be back in America for Halloween! I saved up 1000€ alone for all the expenses that will come up before I can fly out and I dread spending that money, but I am really excited for the future!
And, Stephen might be able to get us a church for our wedding!
I know we won't have much money for the wedding and the more time passed, the more I am comfortable with having a small wedding at a courthouse, BUT religion and god has always been important to our relationship, so being able to marry in a church, walk down the aisle in a white dress is something I would really like.
I'd like to, but I am not getting my hopes up high, because it might not work out.. still.. SO EXCITED!!
We might be getting married SOON!!
