I'm not one to normally start threads or cause too much attention to myself, though I've responded to a few threads around. I haven't really mentioned this on the forum yet except through my signature and maybe somewhere else... but a few weeks ago I remember getting emails for when flights would be cheaper so I was talking to my guy about possibly finding a really good deal and wanting to get it if I could and he was very enthusiastic about the idea so it gave me huge excitement because I had a good amount of money in my bank account so I searched and found the Canadian Affair website again and found a flight May 21 to June 17 (four weeks!! double the time of my first visit!) for less than my first visit at around $750 (my first visit was about $780 in-person through a travel agency) and I had to phone them (I used skype to call since their office is in London!) and pay because when I tried online I messed up a number... haha. So I also ended up booking window seats because I found I liked window seats from my last trip experience (it was a small fee but the end result was around $750 so it was still pretty awesome!!). And so I booked the time off work and began counting down.. well, I waited before I booked to double check it was okay with my parents and my guy double checked with his dad to make sure it was okay I could stay with them again. It's nice because this time I'm flying into Manchester Airport which is closer to my guy's house than London Gatwick where I had to fly last time. I'm taking a taxi from the airport to his house which my guy already booked with his town taxi agency and it's so much cheaper than the taxis I had to book last time (and last time I only did the one taxi from Gatwick to Birmingham New St Station where I met my boyfriend and we took a train to his house and that was around £220 and the return from his place to Gatwick was £170 through a different taxi company, and now both ways are only £68!). And now it's officially 10 days until I see him! (9 days until my flight) I have basically everything I need that I can't get there so I'm now just waiting for the days to pass. In a week I'll be packing!! It's so exciting especially since it's sooner than we were planning!!
Yeah I'm just so excited to see him again and do everything with him for FOUR WEEKS! so if you wonder where I am during May 21 to June 17... I'm with my boyfriend!!!!!!
