We have been friends since the beginning of the summer, and started dating October 11th 2011 and are still very happy, just because you guys are young it means nothing. Just be happy with eachother and go from there (:

It shouldn't matter what other people say about your relationship, even if it's your/ her own parents saying something about it. I had that same problem with my parents when my boyfriend and I started going out. We were both 14, and my mom was not happy. She threatened to take all my privaleges away and punish me because I wanted to talk to him. She was afraid that he was some pedophile or something like that. I suppose parents have the right to be cautious with their kids, but if you've talked to you partner for a long time, and you two have skyped before, there really is no reason why it should be a big deal. If it makes you happy, they should accept it. And if they don't, let them know nothing will stop you from being with them. I remember being so confused because I didn't want to make my parents mad, but I knew that I wanted to be with my baby. So, I pretty much showed my parents that they couldn't stop me from talking to him. I did end up punished and upset a lot, but my parents came to see that both of us really cared about each other. I'm 16 now, and still in a LDR. His parents and mine are both more comfortable with us being together now. I even talk to his mom sometimes, or he talks to mine lol. But just don't give up on your relationship. If you do, you could be losing something great.
