On Sunday my bf and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. It was our 1st anniversary apart, which was sad. But recently we've been talking about getting a place together once either (or both) of us find a more permanent job (I'm currently volunteering for a year, and he's in-between seasonal jobs). It's exciting to start looking for a place together, and will be even more exciting because we will both be moving out of our home states (and parent's houses) to a completely new one. Now all we need is to find some jobs SOON. Wish us luck!!

I am currently serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA in North Carolina (where we might move). I'm originally from Philadelphia, PA, so I would have a small upper hand over my SO as to the state, but we might move to a completed different city

SOOO plans have already changed. My SO accepted a job back home. He broke the news to me on my birthday and I was overwhelmed with mixed emotions. I am veryyy happy and excited for him that he has a job (HOPEFULLY) doing what he likes. But at the same time I was disappointed and upset because I wasn't part of the conversation before he accepted. Not that I would have wanted him to turn it down, it just would have been nice to know that he thought about how this would affect us. Once my VISTA year is over I'll be moving back north and hopefully then we'll be able to get a place together. Instead of thinking we'd be moving in together in 2ish months it not turns out to be 4-8+ months. *sigh* But I guess you can't count your chickens until they hatch. Thanks for all the support!
