THIS CHICK!

After a long but fairly easy process, (seriously, they barely asked me any questions, they just asked for a document and I gave, asked and I gave, etc. etc. The worst part was the endless waiting in the claustrophobic waiting area.) I am picking up my visa on Friday the 24th at 9 am. I'm definitely closing the distance in less than a month. JP and I are going to be together.

Congrats! Are you guys closing the distance for good?

Yes. We miiight have to be LD again in a year and a half to two years, depending on what happens with the boyfriend's postdoc situation, but that's really not something I'm thinking/worrying about now. So much could happen between now and then.
