Hopefully in 4-5 years, when he's a sophomore in college and when I've just graduated out of college. I'll probably be seeking an apartment at that point, and choose someplace close to my SO. Then, if things are going well, he can move in with me. It seems so far away right now haha, so its really more like a fantasy in my mind; but who knows.

Realistically, we have 3 more years before I can pack my bags. It seems so long, but with all the things that we need to get done to make it possible, it seems like a reasonable amount of time. Still sucks though

If our plan had worked out the way we thought, we would've been together 13 months when we closed the distance, only 4 1/2 months LD. But since that plan fell through, the plan is most likely me going to school there next August. But he'll probably come spend the summer here from May till whenever his parents are relocated back that summer. So we'll have been together about a year and a half when we close the distance. We will be closing the distance in the beginning of May 2014. By then we will have been together 5 years, 4 of which were LD.

My boyfriend moved all the way from South Africa to Czech republic. Now we have been waiting for already two months for them to tell us if they give him the visa or not. This waiting is as awful as was waiting for him!Comment

My bf and I will close the distance by June/July 2014 hopefully. We'll use the following 6 months to get the visa we need in order to live together. It's going to be me the one who moves to his country. I'm so excited about closing the distance next year!!!!

2 days until my boyfriend and I close the distance after 3 years of being 2000 miles apart! My boyfriend is making the 29 hour drive from California to Missouri! And I could not be more excited!! I cannot wait to live in the same state!!Comment
