Getting a Pet

Get a dog or cat from your local animal shelter! Don't go to breeders, please please please. Sorry to harass or nag, but it's just something I feel strong about.

Unless of course you are purchasing a cat from a breeder due to allergy reasons, and then make sure that they for test fel-d1 levels on all their cats being bred.

I got my cats from a shelter...and I prefer that lol its so nice to see them changing from what they were when we got them to how they are now :P Kitty just follows me everywhere <3 however fatman stays outside alot now, but if he sleeps inside then he tries to sleep on my pillow lol >.<
I would wait until you have everything sorted before getting a pet though. Just because im sure it'd be easier for the pet if everything was in place and there was no more moving around or change...especially for the first few months you have it
