We clued into the fact that maybe I should take a test when I walked into the living room, and just started BAWLING about how bad things smelled hahaha. There was nothing out of the ordinary, but to me, oh wow it was so bad. I just couldn't take it. Rane looked at me like I was absolutely nuts.

The greencard case did actually take a bad turn. :/ We got a request for evidence from our application, and it put our whole case on hold. So instead of Rane getting his work permit (which would sure be nice right now), our case is in limbo. I have already sent back what they asked for, but if I didn't do it to their standards, they can flat out deny our WHOLE case, and he would have 30 days to get back to Canada. We would have to start over from scratch, except get a married visa instead of a fiance visa. And our life savings would have been basically thrown away. I'd be alone for the whole pregnancy and birth (they are not likely to let him into the country until he has the new visa, even for the birth of his child)... it scares the crap out of me. The other option is to appeal the process, but we just don't have the money for that, nor anyone to ask. I just pray I did it right. I can't fathom losing him NOW.

Oh no! I hope that everything goes smoothly with the green card. If not, you guys should look for a lawyer in your area that gives free legal advice. For example, in my home town there is a group of lawyers that are at the public library every Tuesday night for a couple of hours to give free legal aid. Google around and hopefully you will find something like that!

Awwww I'm so sorry to hear about the visa thing! That would definitely be the worst thing to happen if he had to leave...

I want to think there's plenty of evidence from the 2 of you to prove that you really love each other, wanna live and work in the US and are already starting a family.
