We chose to live separately, and I'm glad with that decision. We live across the street from each other anyway :P. We're taking things relatively slowly though. We've already been together close to 2 1/2 years and we still won't discuss marriage for another 5 xD. It's just how it works for us, every relationship is different.

Since we started out as a CDR, we'll probably end up moving in together when I move back down here. Or maybe he'll move up to Ohio with me. But either way, we'll most likely be living together.LFAD Book Challenge: 4/25 Complete

I'd rather move in... but I think with me and my SO, we're both just so ready to move out and move on with this phase of our lives. We spent so much time together when we lived closer and had moments that made it clear that since he's my best friend as well as my boyfriend, that we'll have fun living together... of course, it won't be without its stresses and challenges, but that's part of the fun in a way. Learning to deal with someone else who's not your family or just a roommate. Having to learn how to accept someone for who they are and everything they do.
Also, rent makes it easier too. I'd rather be splitting rent with my boyfriend and sharing a one bedroom apartment than living with a girlfriend in a two bedroom and paying about 100-200$ more.[CENTER]"True love doesn't mean being inseparable; it means being separated and nothing changes."

Hmm... So given that I've been on my own for 5 days for the first time ever, I'm needing to do this for me and he will be moving close as opposed to moving in. Though as we're not 100% sure what his employment situation will be, if he doesn't have a job when he gets here, he'll be staying with me until he has one. Then it's "hasta la vista baby, I love you, now get out!"

I say move in all the way rent is cheaper But that's one of the main reasons why I'm closing the distance cheap rent besides think about it if you move closer you might have to get a crazy roommate off craiglists and let's pray she's not a kleptomaniac lol also keep in mind it's cheaper for utilities, insurance, and you can save on the side too

Hmmm i think a lot of it depends on how well you know each other and if you think you will be better off living together. My SO and i are both planning on waiting until we are married to move in together but we plan on closing the distance before then I think the joy of just being able to drive to see him versus fly would make everything worth it. It all depends on your relationship and where you two are...there are lots of cheap places and even room sharing options and if you are meeting your SO for the first time or are new in your relationship I think its best to wait at least a bit. I wouldn't want my SO to move unless he was prepared to financially and because that would be a big deal for us.

I plan on moving closer to him. The only way I will with him is if he changes my last name.Love is patient and kind. It does not envy or boast; is not proud, rude or self-seeking. I'm all for moving in. I've cohabited once before, and it was awesome. Just getting to wake up in their arms every morning...
Obviously though it depends if both of you are comfortable. I'd be happy to, but I have no idea if he's ready yet. And we can't close the distance for a while yet anyways, so it's moot.

My SO will be moving up here in April, but he will get his own place for now. He will probably only live 5-10 minutes from me, and we'll spend almost every night at my place or his, but I like having my own space and he'll need some privacy and quiet time for his law school studies. I love living with my roommates for now also.

Since we started as CD when I graduate in a year and move back to San Diego(Hopefully if everything goes as planned) I will be moving in with him as long as he's gotten a job and a place. Well I'd most likely be moving in with him and a friend, apartments are expensive in California.
But yes if it works out I'll be doing that if it doesn't I'll move back in with my dad until I can save up for my own place or we save up for a place of our own.
