The best gift Anthony has given me is a promise ring. It is extremely symbolic to me and whenever I look at it, I am constantly reminded that he picked me, made a commitment to me, and loves me with all of his heart. Also, when he gave me the ring, it was on our 2 year anniversary and it was two weeks before he went back to school. We were close distance for 6 months prior and he had to go back to Rochester. It's definitely helped me to cope with the distance.

"Do I love you? My God, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches."

Like a drum, my heart never stops beating for you.

The first time I visited him he got me a pair of earrings that we picked together. Then when I got home I lost of the earrings. So during my second visit he got me another, different pair (plain, silver). Well, same thing happened after I got back home. After that, he had to mail me a few books that I had ordered through him and when I got the package I found a beautifully wrapped little box with the exact same earrings that the previous ones. The sweetness of that gesture really moved me, and I'm proud to say I haven't lost them yet, over two years later. The secret is to never take them off

I am such a gadget girl and the only thing I wanted for Christmas last year was an iPad...I wasn't expecting him to buy it for me because I had only requested gift cards fromm my parents so that I could save them to buy one. Little did I know he got me one and my gift cards went for accessories

So far, the best gift has been the money order he sent me so I could get my passport -- so generous of him!! His next "gift" is on it's way -- he's sending me one of his sweaters so I can smell him on it. He calls it his 'stinky' sweater but I'm sure I'll treasure it while snuggling with it at night.
          February 2012 -- met online
August 2012 -- he said "I love you."
April 2013 -- met in person
          June 2013 -- broke up
          July 2013 -- back together
          August 2013 -- 2nd visit
          October 20, 2013 -- He proposed!
          April 22, 2014 -- Married/closed the distance!

The best one hasn't happened yet, but he bought two tickets to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert on New Year's Eve..in Las Vegas. I'm not too big on physical presents, aside from hand-made things, but that's a once in a lifetime experience and I get to share it with him !

Best non-materialistic gift: that he quit his job to move to the USA to live with me. Also, that he always does the dishes.

Best materialistic gift: he is a very practical gift giver. For Christmas he bought me an electric mixer which I have been wanting forever. He also recently bought me my wedding ring, but I don't know what it looks like yet so I can't say if it's the best or not

I love crafting and its often calming for my jittery nerves. My boy made me a card himself and I got it in perfect timing just the day before my birthday. He included this little note: "Okay so I figured the card needs an explanation. I wanted to do something that involved stars since we've talked about star gazing quite a lot. This let me to onto looking up constellations. Ursa Major struck a note since also known as the great bear. Since you delivered me Melbert (whom I adore <3) [Melbert is our teddy bear] I thought the great bear reminds me of you. Hopefully when I come visit we'll be able to gaze at it." I was so unbelievably touched, the thoughtfulness behind this simply made me melt And to think that he made it all by himself! *squees*

Here's the card, the stars are in the shape of Ursa Major, along with the scented tissue (which smells like him) and oodles of confetti:

My SO has done numerous of gifts and surprises, sent roses for no reason, a beautiful ring for our 2nd year anniversary, his t-shirt when i needed something personal from him. I mean so many things, homeade pillow case of his shrts, a new camera( twice!) because i broke or lost one.
But some of the most memorable for me is when we were in san francisco, the first was when i was a bit depressed at the thought of being apart from him because i couldn't afford to go all over cali with him. He walked away from me, and came back with a beautiful single red rose, the most romantic flower. No reason, just to cheer me up, red rose is the symbol of love mhmm. And then near the end of his visit, we were walking and he walked away (this boy always just doesnt say a word lol, just walks and leaves) He came back with a coin, that said "I left my heart in san francisco" Some of the smallest gifts he's given me, but the most memorable, thoughtful.
                    I love you Nathan <3

hmm this is a tough one. While my boyfriend doesn't have a whole lot of spendable cash, he does like to get me nice things a lot of times, mostly practical, but totally awesome. Like one of my favourites is the food processor he bought me so I could make ice creams (frozen bananas and fruit or even chocolate/vanilla) and other kinds of dips and things.. it's awesome and I use it a lot. He also bought me a yoghurt maker so I could make my own soya yoghurt because the stores near me don't have a whole lot of options and when they do sell them they are almost always flavoured/with sugar so it makes them less appealing to me.. I like to add my own fruit or a bit of jam to the yoghurt if I want a bit of sweetness. He also surprised me with roses for my 21st birthday.. he got my mom to pick them up for me.. he had said he wanted to make my 21st birthday really good because his was the opposite.. It was such a sweet gesture and I took a picture of the roses too. Oh and for my 22nd birthday he got me a GoPro camera because I really wanted a camcorder camera, and the GoPro is really good for taking video, though it's a different kind of camera, it does pretty good for itself. He's bought me lots of little things, sent me money for things if I was short on funds and he had some.. he's so sweet and adorable and I'm so lucky to have him. <3 The gushy in love girl inside of me wants to add that HE is my perfect present. <3

My awesome custom-designed coffee cup, with our faces on it, and 'I love you!' and a giant heart. Cheesiest. Thing. Ever. But it makes me so happy every time I drink out of it. It was going to be a total surprise, but then he went and told me...ahaha...the man can't keep a secret from me!

Wow there are way to many thoughtful, romantic and plain sweet gifts and surprises. His shirt I wore the first weekend we spent together, a digital picture keychain, a surprise trip to San Francisco <3, he surprised me at the airport when I got to LA with my parents, my stuffed panda bear we named Zimanai (Zima for short), my hot chocolate maker, love letters and cards, my first stay to Sacramento, pink bath towel he bought me and he kept in his place =3. Felt like it was a little bit more "our" room... Or maybe the heating pad he sent when I was having terrible cramps... Or the money and weapons (pepper spray and knife) he sent to "take care of" me when I first moved to NYC. Im a low maintenance type of girl but the cash made me feel like his woman LOL, don't ask me why.
My absolute favorite... probably the letters =D!
