Our 2 year is the same day! we will most likely be on a cruise honeymoon for both Christmas and our 2 yr., and my SO says no gifts. I really want to find him something cool though. He's the most difficult person in the world to buy fr, especially because he shows no emotion for gifts. Even if it is something he really likes you can't tell, and you could never get him something he REALLY likes...
Anyways, I'm super for this thread for ideas!
My SO is a coffee freak, and wants to learn how to roast coffee. I'm going to get him a coffee roaster with some beans he can roast. I turned him on to coffee roasting and the awesome coffee it produces.
How awesome! I hope you enjoy your cruise together!! I have no idea what we are doing for our 2 years yet.
As for a gift idea, my SO is a social drinker, and he loves his whiskey. I found this 'Rotating Bartender' online. It's a little expensive, so I'm undecided about it. Plus, I'm afraid it may be too big for him to take back with him. We'll see.
-2 iTunes albums. (both Christmas albums)
-PS4 Camera
-dashboard attachment thing for his phone (which I'll totally put in my car on long trips and use too, lol)
-possibly (depending on my schedule) another stenciled pillowcase to go with the one I gave him for our 2nd anniversary
2016 Goal: Buy a house.
Progress: Complete!
2017 Goal: Pay off credit card debt
Progress: Working on it.
Due to the fact we won't be seeing each other during the holidays after all (flight prices are way too high over the holidays, schedules, children etc etc) I bought him and his son a gift voucher that has 30 different experiences to choose from, so they can spend a day together having fun. There are things to choose from like scuba diving, Football Club Tour 1 Adult & 1 Child, Motorsport Entrance Tickets for Two, paintball, Skiing Taster Session, Steam Train Ride for Two etc. I think it is great that they let you choose from (there are also things like manicure, massage etc which obviously isn't for men ) many activities so I can't go wrong with that one
And then he will be getting the hat and maybe some chocolate.
I already bought him my Christmas gift. He's a fan of Pokemon and the newest Pokemon game for 3DS has now been released in the Philippines, soooo I lined up in the mall to get him this:
A Nintendo 3DS Pokemon Y edition. He's such a kiddo at heart.
I was thinking of getting my SO a 3DS too (probably the Zelda edition). The 3DS slider broke on his old one and the warranty isn't good anymore. Also, maybe some shirts or something like that.

My s/o is a avid sneaker collector, so I am thinking of getting him a retro pair of Micheal Jordan sneakers (once I check to see which ones he doesn't already own) or an iPad-he's been hinting around about wanting one after I bought mine, plus he uses it daily so I might as well get him his own so he can stop using mine lol.
Now that I think of it, if I can find a cheap copy of Zelda: Skyward Sword, I might get him that . His brother took their wii (they shared it) when he closed the distance with his girlfriend and moved to another city, so he's been DYING to finish it, and he loves it...but I'm not sure if it's a good gift, as he'd finish playing and then probably never play again. But who knows.

I actually want the Zelda 3DS for myself, but it's not released here yet.
Another thing I'm adding to my SO's Christmas package is a small journal I'm keeping for him. Every day I write something, whether it be an abstract thought, a small piece I wrote him, or just a few words about my day. Sometimes I paste in little scraps and stuff this is an easy thing to do and doesn't require much effort nor money.
They've been banned in Argentina . You can only find dollars in the black market. It's referred to as el dolar blue.
Really? I had no idea. Over here where I am you can still pay with USD in the stores and stuff anyways... What annoys the heck out of me is the 20% tax-thingy they've put on travels for foreigners, it's just bullshit to me. Buying a plane ticket to get here or get out of here is 20% more expensive! Ugh.
Anyways, won't be together with my SO during Christmas this year, so I will have to get him something for when I get back here, in late February or something like that. Thinking about getting him a pair of sweatpants (he doesn't own any but keeps talking about wanting a pair) and maybe some game/s for his PSP

Yea :/. Just ask him about it. My family says they can't find any dollars anywhere. I have an aunt trying to come for my wedding next June and she doesn't think she'll be able to because of this reason. The government is making it somewhat difficult for people to get visas to come into the US. I pray that they give her the visa .
This year we're getting random bits and bobs for each other. I've got him some new headphones (since his broke), an Avengers mug, a Assassins creed hoodie, an Assassins Creed wallet, some chocolate and a Lynx body wash/spray set. Might get him a t-shirt and some new jeans too. Nothing exciting but he's told me countless times he want an AC hoodie and a new wallet so there we go, he'll be pleased
