The Worth It t-shirt I bought from this website I also bought him two DvDs, one being the movie we saw together on my last day on my visit with him and another that's sort of an inside joke between us. Also gonna bake him cookies again like I did for Christmas since he really liked them <3 Going to write him a letter too from this freaking adorable card I actually bought during Christmas time that I just couldn't pass up.

Valentines is also his birthday so I wanna make it extra special

Does anyone know how i can find a post someone had made which was a card of the people kissing? i want to make that but i dont how to find the post i saw it some while back. I think maybe a box full of his favorite candy, and a picture frame with our picture in it since wants this really pretty picture we have together.

I'm going to be visiting him from the 12th to the 20th, and I have some things planned that are not necessarily for valentines day but more just for the hell of it.

                1. We're going to swap sweatshirts. We're each going to wear ours for a while, and then give it to the other person so we'll be trading scents.
                2. He keeps talking about buying me the "I <3 MY GEEK" t-shirt from thinkgeek, and while I can't afford to order it I'm going to buy a black t-shirt and some red and white fabric paint and make my own. I think I'm actually going to wear that on valentines day.
                3. Someone talked in the Things To Do forum about buying those travel-size battleship games and each keeping one so you can play battleship together. I think that's brilliant, so I want to see if I can find one of those.

We'll be together for 3 weeks total though (he's coming here for work stuff after my visit) so I'll spread these things out a bit.

I'm also going to have him record his voice for me. I have to do some studying while I'm visiting as I have a crazy midterm pretty soon after I get back, so one day when I shut myself away to avoid distractions, I'm going to set up my laptop and have him talk for at least 10 minutes. He can read a story, make one up, just talk about his day, I don't care. I just want something to listen to when I miss him but it's not a good time for us to talk.

To be honest.. I haven't even thought of getting something since Valentine's day is a Friend's day in Finland and people usually buy little gifts or cards for friends.. Must be weird for you! So Valentine's Day doesn't have such a big meaning to me but I think it's a sweet tradition so maybe I will get him something small.. I just don't know what because I've never bought or made any!

I plan to cook for him..and just spending time..since that time he is already here, so probably i will book hotel for one night for us..im still thinking tho..coz...if i book hotel we cant cook..and if we cook at home, we will be lazy to drive to hotel again..so...hmmm..maybe just decorate the room and buy candles and etc...thinking....

Already started filling up his usb stick, but my laptop's dvd drive has decided to break so I can't rip the dvd I wanted to put on there =/ I was also starting to look online for a bakery which will send him something- like CookieHQ but I was hoping for somewhere around Toledo... no luck so far, I am glad I started early!

We're firm believers of the quote "the best things in life are free." So we like to write each other poems, do drawings for one another, things like that and IMO, these gifts are a lot more meaningful. Besides, his birthday is the following month!
