    Gentlemen! HELP!

Alright, gentlemen (and ladies are welcome too)! Help me out! I am trying to figure out what I can get my SO for Valentine's Day that is more masculine.

Last year, I had him get in his car and drive to a shopping center. He had no idea where he was going and I had him walk into a flower shop to get a bouquet of flowers (with more masculine colors) that I had bought and ordered. He was absolutely flattered.
I had HIM go on the adventure because they can't deliver things like that to the dorms where he lives during school. The whole security issue in case the clear liquid in the vase is actually vodka that college students are smuggling in, cleverly disguised as a beautiful flower arrangement or self-destructing flowers.

HOWEVER, when he got home to get on skype to show me his flower arrangement...it was NOT what I ordered AT ALL. It a small vase with 5 flowers in it....I ordered a $40 arrangement and the place says it was teleflora. So...wtf?
He went back and discussed with the people that he got the wrong thing. He had all the receipts he needed. The people in the front apologized and the head florist came out with something else, claiming he would "add more flowers" due to the issue. Fair enough, right?
My SO sent me a picture of the "NEW" arrangement via iPhone and it still wasn't even remotely close to what I ordered and not nearly worth $40. The florist finally admitted that he didn't have the stuff to make the bouquet I ordered after jerking us around for almost 2 hours, but we should be appreciative he gave us anything at all since we only came back to complain about "his artwork" and that my SO needs to put a leash on me to control me... WHAT?!
I wasn't even there! My boyfriend is NOT easily angered and he flat-out tore this guy up verbally. My SO even had the florist receptionist on his side. He stormed out, but with my full refund.

So, summing it all up, I will never do flowers again. He doesn't really like chocolate. I'm stumped!! He is into cars and speakers/audio things. However, I can't possibly think of anything to get him related to those without spending a lot of money :\

So, gentlemen, what was one of your favorite Valentine's Day gift? What do you like and what would you love to get?

Ladies, what would you suggest? What gift have you sent your SO that he really appreciated and enjoyed?

If he is a writer, a fabulous pen is a great gift, engraved if you can.

I'd say give him anal, but it seems you won't be together in person. I know that pain ;_;. Lemme see...manly gifts...I never get my boyfriend manly gifts xD. He's such a dork, he takes all sorts of adorable stuff. I'm not sure what your boyfriend would like that's manly. What type of stuff is he into? It would be easier if you add that on.

I've only had one Valentine's day with my SO so far, and it was early on in our relationship; I got him this: https://www.amazon.com/Tape-Stick--M...5428082&sr=8-2

I fit about 21 songs on it, and he was delighted! He still has the playlist I made him on his ipod I'm working on another playlist now, for this year I think it's a manly, and you can make it as romantic as you want, depending on your track choices!

Well usually when my SO and I get each other gifts (mind that we are both absolutely terrible shoppers >.<) they are usually a small collection of a few cheezy gifts

Last valentines day I got my SO a couple packs of pokemon cards (we're the nerdy couple X3) and some chocolate

She took the Best Valentines Gift award though, regardless of cheezyness. What she did was buy one of those necklace sets where one necklace is a key and the other necklace is a heart with a lock on it, giving me the key
It meant a ton to me, and was a really good gift ^.^
Just try to focus on one of his interests (the more manly ones if you so choose ;D) and then try to get creative with it!

Sorry for ranting lol, hope I helped!

He is into detailing cars or just cars in general. He also is into audio/speaker systems. But...those things are crazy expensive

You might could try drawing him a cartoon-esque car on a pecie of posterboard, having it laminated, and buying him a dry erase marker.Just something cute and cheesy.

I remember one time my SO told me he didnt have any good pictures of us or of me so I made him a collage and sent it to him without telling him. He got it when he was having a pretty bad day so he was super appreciative.

This year I'll be there there to celebrate(well a little after the real Vday) and he mentioned how he doesent have a MP3 player so Im going to get one and load it with some songs for him...I think he'll like it. Apparently he got me a nice gift so looking forward to finding out what that is
