I think I would enjoy it much more than US politics.
Yeah, thanks for the advice you two. I'll definitely look into that because he would have a much harder time trying to move here than me there. I understand being strict, but US is just a bit ridiculous.

It has to do mostly at the fault of my own country being so darn arrogant. They call themselves "leader of the free world" and have pissed off most of the globe. We are given the cold shoulder now by most countries in this matter. I too, would welcome living in Holland, but it would be an adjustment.

It's irritating how arrogant our country is, and the president keeps butting in where he doesn't belong, so that doesn't help the matter any. I'm not going to go there though. Anyway, I cannot wait to move to Sweden. I love it there. Everyone I have met is so friendly and his family, even though his grandparents don't speak or understand much English, are so warm and welcome. They treat me as if I've been a part of their family for years. I know all people in Sweden aren't going to be this way, but, so far, many have. I think living there will be much better than living here. One great thing, is that we drive on the same side of the road! Thank God!

That's what my BF said too. I must be doing pretty well though. My Christmas gift from them this year, though I felt kind of bad about it, is my trip to Sweden. They are bringing me there because I couldn't afford it this year. They said it was because they wanted to see me again. Plus, they loving seeing my BF happy. Part of me feels bad about it, but another part is beyond ecstatic because I get to be with him.

Oh, wow, that must have been really hard for you two. I can barely handle six months apart. Oh, I plan on making it up to them. I was planning on helping clean, do laundry (his and mine anyway), help cook, etc. Plus, my BF said we can buy them each a gift that is worth the amount that each individual put in on the trip. I told him to say that I would pay them back, but his reply was that they would just give the money back to me. However, I would feel much, much better if I did something, bought something, or simply returned the money to pay them back. At least, I think this proves that they like me.

Do whatever you feel is worth it! I like to bring things from Australia as well, like chocolates. Also have you been to Montis, in Gallerian in Stockholm? I miss the ice-cream there

I understand that. I think it is usually harder on the girls than the guys simply because we're more sensitive.
Oh, I plan on it! As far as taking food, I don't know if I'd have enough room! I'm sure you know how women and packing clothes goes! No, I haven't been to Montis. It looks like I have yet another thing to mention to my BF tomorrow.

I think that I would walk across coals to be with him. I don't understand why I have to for his govt. laws.
I know in my brain why, but I just don't care in my heart why.Last edited by Hollandia; October 28, 2012, 02:41 AM.

I know how women work . I'm planning on filling up my carry-on with chocolate, plus whatever room is in the checked suitcase.
I had not eaten chocolate in years before that, now I yearn for it. Mmmmmm..... just give me a slice. I love it.
He would break off huge chunks of it and put half in his mouth and half in mine. LOL. Ten miles of bike riding down the drain or not......just give me some chocolate.
