This is actually my second post, this particular forum is lower than on other websites.
My name's Colin, I just signed up yesterday. I've had the list of things for long distance couples to do bookmarked for a few weeks but never bothered to look at anything past that. When I saw there were forums, I got a little excited and decided to sign up.
My girl (she's not exactly my girlfriend yet, just someone who shares the same feelings for me as I do for her) is in Florida and I'm in California. She doesn't have an account here (and probably won't) because she's pretty private (which is why I don't use her name) but I'm pretty open about stuff like this and I need to find an outlet, so I figured this is a good place for that.
We met on Facebook through a mutual friend in 2008 and started talking then. Things sorta didn't work out and I moved around a little through the country. I moved back to California a month or so ago and for some reason that started us talking again. Since then we've talked everyday for 6-7 hours a day.
I'm excited to meet other LDR's here. I've had some bad luck with an LDR in the past but I'm hoping this one will be better!
