Not your conventional LDRer.
Hey there everyone! You guys can call me Sasch; it's not my real name, but it's what I generally prefer to go by. 
My girlfriend and I met each other through the wonderful world of the internets, and after getting to know her for a couple of months, we decided we wanted to be in a relationship. After four months of only being able to communicate through instant messaging and MySpace, I ended up moving to her city! There's a lot of big details in between, but anyways, we've been together for 32 months now (28 being non-LDR, though). However, some time next year I plan on moving back to my old city to find a good job and so I can get in-state tuition by the time I start college in 2013. This means that we'll be in an LDR again for a year (or in the worst case scenario, a year and a half) before she moves up to my city to live with me. It's gonna be tough, but we're extremely committed and know that this will work. So, yeah, hello other forum-goers!

Me and my bf went from clouse distance to long distance too, it is very hard but this site helps a lot!
