I'm sad that I can't kiss my boyfriend at midnight. Spending all of New Year's with him would be a dream, but I think the moment when the clocks tick over to a new year will be the hardest part.

Our first NYE we spent apart... I got really drunk, cried and passed out at 10pm... last year was magical, I got my first ever New Years kiss and cried for a completely different reason

Last year, I had to leave my girlfriend's house three days before Christmas...it made the entire holiday feel very sad and meaningless. This year, we're spending both Christmas and New Year's together and I'm excited to share those special times together. I'm looking forward to cuddling under the tree and sharing a kiss when we ring in the new year. :')

Meh, we're both homebodies and spend a lot of time on the internet so we'll probably be online together that night. We're only an hour's difference, so. Plus I'll be going to visit him 10 days later, so that's exciting.
I'm invited to a party, but it's close to 60 miles away so I probably won't go this year anyway.

The hardest part about this christmas/new years is that we had planned/in our minds we would be together at christmas this year.. but thanks to his family (don't EVEN get me started on his family....) we can't.. .

it's so hard when he tells me that 'it's starting to snow' or I think about christmas/new years.. because from july (or even earlier) we'd decided for me to go to there for christmas. just makes me angry and really sad when i think about it.

on NYE though we should be able to skype together, I know i won't feel like doing anything.. I'm a bit of a grinch this year and just want the holidays to be over and it to be closer to when I get to visit him again.
