Seriously, though. I'm up for this from January on, when I'll be finished with my thesis (unfortunately atm I write about it way more than I actually write it).

I'll be in Germany probably until autumn 2012, and it looks like my boyfriend's moving to Germany in April-ish 2012, so sometime between then I'd totally be up for a meeting and make him come with me.

I love this post! I am UP, UP, UP for the meeting! I will be in Germany Dec 28-Jan 16, but I guess it will be kind of busy with NYE in between, and it's too soon to get organized! The I have to come back to italy to do an exam at my University. I will be agian in Germany (Berlin) from the end of February to the beginning of June (then other exams to do in italy...). Then I don't know, if depends if I will have a new contract. I will be working, Lorenz studying , so weekends work better for us too!

Also, as I wrote in Engel's wall, I was thinking about doing a German road trip from Italy to Berlin, stopping in the main cities on the way (Innsbruck, München, Nürnberg, Jena, Leipzig). That would be approximately mid Ferbuary. The trip is kind of long 1400km, but it would be just 2h30 per day of drive. I thought about 4 or 5 nights out, and then if you join me you can stay some nights in Berlin at our place! Let me know if you are interested!!!

München, Stuttgart, Karlruhe, Berlin, Frankfurt... all doable options! and if it it is elsewhere we can consider that as well!

So, can we do this on january? i can only meet until the 18 of january or something, after that my mother, brother and best friend will arrive in germany for the wedding, and around 9 of january or something I will go to London for my hen night! XD

Oh, Karla, I have something to send to you by the post, must remember to do it tomorrow!

I'm leaving for Poland on Thursday and I'll be back on Jan 2nd only. If you send it tomorrow morning, it might get to me before Thursday, though. The post tends to be super fast here, even during holiday season.

Hihihihi It looks like we are all 3 not sleeping yet :-)

On December 29th and 30th we will be 1h from Frankfurt, but it will be the first time I meet his family, so I doubt that we are actually going to Fankfurt. I think we will stay at home and take advantage of this time together to get to know each other. I'm so excited about this meeeeeeting!!! (I'll fly tehre on dec 28th night: just 9 days from now!!!)

As I wrote before, I doubt we can meet in January. LatinButterfly is staying in Germany till Jan 6th (in Hamburg). It's kind of late to get organized, no?

So I suggest to meet in Germany something between March-April-May, and if you are interested in the February road trip, let me know!

I'm definitely all for a March April May Meeting.
And seeing as my boyfriend's most likely moving to Dresden and I'm due to visit my family that lives up North some time around then (because it will have been almost a year since my last visit), I'm up for almost anywhere... if it's not much south of Frankfurt/Mainz, because that would be sort of out of my way.

Ive had proofs of the eficiency of the german post! it is amazing! sometimes i order things from the usa with normal postage and they arrive in a week! even 5 days after! :O

I will send it tomorrow them!

Begin of befruary, until 4th of february, we will be travelling. after the wedding me, him, my mother, my brother and my best friend will go to paris, afterwards my best friend returns to london where he lives (we are from the same city in brazil, and are friends since i was 18, im 23 now), and me my mother brtoher and then husband will go to italy or holland afterwards. where in italy do you live kiara?

on the 3rd or 4th of february we will be back in germany. 4th or 5th my mother and brothe go back to brazil. My SO and i really wanted to go to venecia for carnival, do you know when will it be? if we are in germany when you are, im up for meeting in a weekend!

Post within Germany usually arrives over night, if you send it off before/around noon. If the postman didn't always ring exactly when I was taking a shower, I would have no complaints at all. Gotta love the German Post.

I'm off to bed now (we should catch up some time. Though probably I won't have time until after Christmas)

I am also up for the meet up. As I have said before, I think the idea is just so cool and I am hoping we all can make it. =)

If you are a german/have a SO in Germany, when will you be here, and in what part of Germany?

I will be in Hamburg from Dec 20th (tomorrow, yay!!!) until Jan 8th, but I agree with Kiara; the January meet up would be too soon and most of us we'll busy during the holidays, working on thesis, celebrating anniversaries, getting married, etc.

When and where would you like the meeting to be?
I think we could try meeting up around March/April, '12.
I have to check my schedule, but I promise once I am back from my holidays trip I will update you with the dates I'll be in Germany. Also, I will talk to Nils about this meet up idea, because the cool thing would be if we can come with our SO's, right?
I know another two german girls (NaNi and Anna -littlethinktank-) you probably know them two, perhaps they will be interested in meeting up too? It probably will be hard for their SO's to join them as they are a little bit too far away, and school/jobs don't allow them to see each other that often... But Girls, if you read this, know that you guys are more than welcome too, so if interested, please come!!

We can make more than one meeting if needed be, it just would be great to all of most of us to meet in person! I dont know Anna, but I know Nani, and it would be great if she could join us too!
