What are some of your favorite things about your LDR partner?

His laugh. He has such a goofy laugh. But it makes me smile. I love his hands and the way that he plays with his ear when he gets really tired. I love his super blue eyes, they are similar to mine. I love that when i cant sleep that he will read to me. I mean yea, it may not take long after that to get me to fall asleep, but he will sit on the phone and just read. I love that. Hell, I just love him.

I love the way that he can make me smile, even if I'm trying my hardest not to as soon as he smiles it's like my heart explodes and I smile right back. I also love how he's always trying to take care of me from so far away, he even found a way to get me to the hospital a few months ago when I was too stubborn to go. He's always looking out for me. And last night he brought up how he was going to cook for me the first night I get in when we close the distance, he's an amazing chef or so I hear so I've always been dying to try his food and it just made me so happy, he never really brings up stuff about closing the distance so just to know he was thinking about it was the best feeling in the world.

Physically:

- He has this determined look to him always, I think I'm the only one who notices it and loves it. Everyone else just think he's angry 24/7. lol
- His pout...oh my god...when he pouts or gives his eyebrows the slightest turn upwards I melt and give into anything he wants, he turns into a puppy. <3
- His eyes, I've honestly fell in love with them. I'm obsessed with blue eyes but my SO has these really lovely brown ones, the first brown eyes I've ever loved <3
- His wink, he always manages to get me with one, and it makes me all smiles.
- I love the fact he's ticklish under his ribs and when I go for it he always tries to act manly and tough and not laugh...he fails at it by the way.
- His smile is amazing and I'm going to be selfish and say I love the fact he usually only does it around me...gives a genuine, long lasting smile.
- His laugh is darling when he finds something extremely funny and his face lights up like a little kid. <3
- His hair, I could sit around playing with it for hours...and I have!
- I just have to say it lol, I am very impressed with his body. He's athletic and well built, muscular but semi-thin like a superhero! <3

Personality Wise:

- I like how honest he is and how he understands my feelings on things so well.
- I like how he'll just rant about the most obscure thing for very long periods of time. He once explained to me for an hour why he likes to sit traditionally across from me at the dinner table rather than side by side! I feel like I learn when he speaks and I feel special because I'm one of the few people who can manage to keep up with what he's saying.
- I like how defensive he is of me. Especially if we were to walk down a road, he will always stay on the side the cars are facing and keep me from facing them.
- I secretly like the fact he gets jealous, it makes me feel very special to him for him to watch when I'm around other guys and hold me tighter, etc etc.
- I like how when he lets his temper get him, he sees me and relaxes.
- I like how he talks about a future with me, how he wants to go on a Cruise ship with me or live in Seattle together.
- I like how he wastes nothing. He is so OCD with wasting food, so it makes me feel better because I know I feel guilty saying that someone is going to bed hungry tonight and were throwing away this food. With him, he finishes it. lol.
- I like how he would lead me by the arm.
- I like how he doesn't want to be involved with drinking or drugs.
- I love the fact he sings, at first I didn't like it...but it grew on me, and I want him to sing to our children someday. <3
- I love how he constantly makes me feel wanted. He always is remarking how much he wants me.
- I love how he calls me gorgeous everyday, its become a habit for him I think.
- I love how determined he is to be the best at everything he does, yes he is overly competitive...but I enjoy seeing him work so hard for his goals.
- I love the fact he's not afraid of most things.
- I love the fact he wants to serve his country.
- I actually like the fact he's considerate of others and doesn't exactly want to smack lips A LOT in public. Haha...I don't do it especially, but every time we did he'd tell me, "Now if you saw some couple making out wouldn't you be like 'get a room'?" haha he had a point. x)
- I love how he's family oriented. I loved watching him pick up and give a piggy back ride to his sister.
- I love the fact hes so passionate about how he is with me, he holds me certain ways and tells me things I'd never expect a guy to say, he's romantic.
- I love how he likes Princess Bride, that way I can tease him. <3
- I like how he likes musicals.

Ugh I could go on...he's just so wonderful and beautiful to me in every single way. There is no favorite trait or look, HE is my favorite. <3

How he always loves to hold me when were together. Whether its all of me or just my hand he always wants to be in contact with me and he makes sure I am safe. He drives with one hand constantly on mine, until he has to switch gears. Speaking of which I love the way he drives. He drives a sports car like a crazy person which while dangerous is admittedly a blast. He applauds me for being one of the only people not afraid of his driving. I love it. How gentle he was with our first time making love (my first) and how he put all my fears to rest. How much of a little kid he really is, and its so cute. How he puts up with me kissing him constantly. His work ethic, he does and puts up with a lot despite having no family support. He is extremely loyal and will defend his friends and family and me. I am extremely proud of his service to our country. He's incredibly intelligent. His honesty, his sense of humor and his attentiveness to me needs. I could go on forever...

It's really hard for me to pick things about him, I love everything haha. If I had to pick physical traits, I'd say I love his nose - its perfect and I hope our kids have his nose. His entire face when he smiles is just so wonderful and I can't help but smile when he does. I love his hair - it's dark and curly. I asked him before we met to grow it out for me into a 'fro and he did, and he still hasn't cut it. It's so long now when he picks it out, I love it! I love his hands too, they're perfect as well. And I love his butt!

I love that he cares so much about me and about us, knowing that he really, truly wants to make this work makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I love that he's made some sacrifices and that he's become such a strong willed man because of it. I love it when he looks at me with so much love in his eyes. It used to make me feel nervous because no one had ever looked at me that way before. I love that he's very open-minded like me.

I love his laugh, its infectious. I love that he is such a goofball sometimes. I love his charm and his confidence. I love it when he yawns and his whole body shakes rofl. I love it that he can be such a tough guy at times but he's genuinely scared of thunder - it's really endearing/cute, I would always hug him and hold his hand during storms.

I love how excited my SO gets when he sees something he likes, it's really adorable, he looks like a little kid on Christmas morning!! Also... I love how he's sorta chubby and how dark his hair is~ I never realized it before I met him, but I don't like scrawny blonde kids... And I love how when we're fighting and he realizes I'm sad, he'll just stop everything and try and make me feel better . I could go on forever about this, I have a huge list I've been working on for a week, but I think 140 reasons might be a bit much!

I love his sense of humor. As horrible as his jokes can be, they're so ridiculous I can't help but laugh. He's always so light-hearted and without a care in the world. I guess that's why I love to be with him so much - I'm naturally an anxious person, but he makes me feel calm and "chill". He never worries about anything. And he's so witty too. Give him 2 seconds and he knows exactly how to respond to anything you say. Every morning he calls me beautiful. And every night he tells me he loves me with all his heart. Everything he does is for me, even if I don't realize it. I think what I love most of all about him is that he accepts me and loves me for all of my good, but even all the bad. He's understanding and forgiving and never holds a grudge, even though I've been guilty of all those things too many times. He loves me even for my faults.

All of these responses absolutely make my heart melt! I'm so happy for everyone on here--this is just one of those reasons why we defy the distance, because these reasons keep us going.

Where to begin? God, there's so much. I love his tenderness. He is so gentle, caring, and kind, and the way he kisses me...it's passionate, it's a caress, it's a tangible I love you. I love how I am fully content and fully passionate with him. I love how we learn from each other. I love his laugh lines--they give me butterflies, especially when he smiles at me. And when he wears his glasses...don't get me started on when he wears his glasses. Whooee! He has the most beautiful eyes--I love when the little flecks of gold in them light up when he's smiling. And he does this silent laugh, when he throws his head back--it's like he's taking in the whole world with his joy.

I absolutely adore the way he is with kids. He met my family on skype the other week, and the way he talked with my 4 year old brother just...God. I know he is an absolutely amazing father. And the way he talks about his son just takes takes my breath away. He has so much love. He is so kind and caring...how I love him.

I love love love when he calls me baby. I love how we laugh at absolutely everything together. I love how he's such a good listener; he is my rock. I love when he tells me I'm the most beautiful in the mornings without makeup on. I LOVE HIS IRISH ACCENT (nothing in the world is sexier). I love when he talks about our future, and calls me the love of his life. I love how he makes me my best self, and supports every single one of my dreams, and how I want nothing more in the world than a family with him.

I love how he devours the news and current events. I love his insane intelligence, his penchant for biographies, his constant searching for meaning. I love how he surprises me constantly with things I'd never expect to hear from him. I love his little catchphrases (maybe it's the Irish way of talking :P), and how he always knows what to say to make me on top of the world. I love how he kisses me in the middle of the night, and the way he traces me like I'm priceless. I love his generosity and loyalty. I just...every, minute facet of him fascinates me. I hunger for his soul, his essence, and I consider myself the luckiest woman in the world to be loved by him. He's one of those guys that you spend your whole life searching for, and you dream about, but when you find them, they are infinitely better than you ever could fathom. He is my everything.

Hmm..the question said some things…I’ll try to stick to that..My SO is the most unselfish person I know almost to a fault sometimes but that’s really who he is..and I love that about him..does that mean he’s a people pleaser? No, he knows who he is and if it goes against his beliefs he won’t do it , but where he can he will, while expecting nothing in return. I love his patience..I fought my feelings for him for a while and he was there to help me sort through those feelings and that made me fall for him even harder. I guess my most favorite thing that I love about him, is that he loves me for me..the bad and the good, the moody and the me that doesn’t want to be bothered sometimes. He’s just truly amazing and to top that off not bad on the eyes either lol!!

Awww everyone's responses are so sweet! Its so nice to hear how wonderful everyone and their SOs are doing.

So so many things...I guess I'll start with the fact that he treats me with so much respect. I never really had that in the past with my ex's, but my SO now always accepts me as I am and treats me like a lady should be treated. I love how he deals with me when I'm a spaz. I always end up apologizing for freaking about school, roommate, drama, etc and he always says that its ok and that its cute. It melts my heart. <3 He ALWAYS knows how to make me feel better and smile. Recently he got an iPhone and has been using this adorable emoticons of kisses and hugs when we say good night. :3

I LOVE how he is so gentle with me. From kisses to hugs, he's amazingly gentle and passionate at the same time. He also puts his arm around my waist when we go out in public and it makes me feel so safe and protected. :3 He is also amazing with kids! He has two nieces and it amazes me every time how he has so many father-like qualities. I know he will make a great dad some day. He's also big into family which is very important to me as well. My family loves my SO because he really promotes family values.

Lastly, (but not least, just not going overboard xD) he always puts him and me as "us". He's always including me in his future even if its 2, 5, or 10 years away. It makes me feel so special. :3 Plus, whenever he gets talking about this stuff he will constantly call me "beautiful". I have to say for the first time, I had never felt beautiful until he called me that.

I absolutely love how supportive he is. We dated four years ago, broke up, saw other people, and now we're back together. Not once has he complained when I needed his help with another guy even though he was in love with me. We've made it through deployments and through so much together because of his strength. I love the way he supports me in any situation and he always has my back. That's the thing I love about him more than anything.

Appearance: I LOVE LOVE LOVE his eyes. They are so beautiful...brown almond shaped eyes. I can always see the love he has for me in those eyes when he looks at me. His butt, holy shit. I love his butt so much. It's so round, tight and perfect. I love to grab his butt or spank him lol. He is only 5'8" and I am 5'6", so I like that he is not too much taller than me so I don't have to stand on my tiptoes to kiss him. His lips are so perfect and are so soft. Very kissable and I love them. He has a goatee which is soooo cute and he looks amazing with it. I like when he keeps a little stubble on his face, because it makes him look so manly. He shaved off his goatee in September when he went back to school and even though I wasn't there, I cried. I begged him to grow it back for when I visited in October, so he did and has kept it ever since. =]

Personality: He is extremely respectful of me in every way. He respects our relationship, he respects me as a person, my opinions and my body. He is apologetic if he makes a mistake and he just loves me. He has this tone of voice that he talks to me in sometimes that is just so sincere and I can just hear the love he has for me when he talks. I love his sense of humor...he can always make me feel better by making me laugh. Anthony is also extremely affectionate with me...he loves to have his arm around me or to hold my hand. He is very protective of me, which makes me feel safe. I love how nerdy he is, because I am too! He loves computers and technology and his love for it is adorable, though he does sometimes get carried away and can't multitask between the technology and me lol.
