Well I met this guy he lives further away from me but luckily not too far. He's coming here this friday and we mentioned to each other that this friday would be a "date". So i want to know.. Do you think it'd be a good idea if when I picked him up and we got back to my car I gave him a card that I made that says like Will you be my valentine and be my guy? I really do like this guy & I really want to impress him, yah know? And I wanna go out to eat and than go back to my house n watch a movie or something. Does that sound like a bad date idea or good? I mean I feel like it seems like a nice thing to do but I just want this guy to feel special yah know? I'm just not used to being the person to plan a date because I've never been on an actual date before or set up one before. I just don't want to look stupid or put together something shitty.. Well thank you for feedback if you respond I appreciate it !

I agree with Moon. If you haven't met yet, a silly little Valentine's card would be cute, whereas a Valentine immediately asking him to be "yours" might come off a little strong. There are a lot of people who don't feel out the potential for a serious relationship until after a few dates in person, and if you live close enough to be considered close-distance for the most part, this point stands even stronger.{ Our Story on LFAD }

I think that to really put this into perspective you need to take a step back. You've hung out with him twice and have an awesome connection and that is fabulous. At the same time you haven't been apart of his life (or I'm assuming) up until this point and like everyone he brings his own baggage, emotions and opinions to the table. While you guys getting along is fabulous, and hanging out often is really great maybe something a little more low key.
