He made me dinner- steaks, salad, and wine. He also got me a big heart-shaped box of chocolates. I made him a New York style cheesecake and got him some of his favorite olives. It was a very nice, relaxed evening at home.

We only did cards this year (well, I got him something small that he likes to eat too), but he made me the BEST, most personal, and most heartfelt card I've ever gotten. It was perfect and so is he <3 I was kind of bummed because even though we live together, I didn't see him until almost midnight on Valentine's because of our opposite schedules yesterday, but that made up for everything.

        I love him so much.

My SO paid me a surprise visit! He set up the entire thing with my parents. My so told me he was working late that night and was very busy so he couldn't really talk much. I was so down that I wouldn't be able to spend time with him on Skype or talk to him much on Valentines Day. Little did I know he was texting me from the airport and called me from it at one point. I thought I was just going out to eat with my family to celebrate the holiday but I was wrong...About a minute after my dad walked in the restaurant (we were waiting for him) someone put their hands over my eyes, and at first I was like....who do I know that would be here right now...(I was secretly hoping it was my SO, and didn't think it was possible). Then I turned around and behold it was him! I reacted with an excited "oh my god" then gave him a long hug. Then my parents ditched us so we could have our own Valentine's Day dinner. He will be here till Friday...so I will be enjoying that time with him now Best surprise ever!

Nothing. We were supposed to make each other CDs for Valentine's Day this weekend but he can't make his. I sent him flowers that he got yesterday, and I have a card. I'm also putting together a photo album of our 'story thus far'. I do hope he has a card for me when I get there.

I don't want to sound materialistic but having never had a chance to celebrate Valentine's Day ... something nice would really make me feel good. I hope he does something.

Well, we didn't see each other on the actual day, but he took me out to dinner and to see "The Vow" last Saturday night. I'm seeing him this weekend as well, and I bought him some of his favorite candy, Sweetarts (probably get more now that there's Valentine's day sales!) and I'm gonna finish up my 52 reasons why I love you deck (yay having time to finish hehe). Oh, and this ring I got him months ago that was way too big was finally mailed back to me, so it's kind of a gift...but not really.

He told me last night he was snuggling with my gift...so I assume a stuffed animal of sort sort.

We sent each other cards with special words that we wrote to each other. Hopefully, this will be the last Valentine's Day that we will have to spend apart. That would be the best V-Day present ever!

I didn't want or expect anything, but my boyfriend likes giving me presents.
So he got me a bracelet with a heart charm
and an angry birds watch (it's an inside joke that we have about the game)

I got him a pen drive in the form of a train. He loves everything train or railway related

I got a pretty massive box of chocolates and flowers, they were beautiful however, apparently, the flower shop was supposed to send all roses, and they made it an assorted kind. Womp womp.
I got my SO two picture frames, one of just me for his desk at work, and another of the both of us together in a heart-shaped frame with a quote, and a card.

We don't do Valentine's Day. It's not our style. We're saving the money that would have been used to go to the beach in two weeks.

I got him a Guns N' Roses hoodie. He didn't buy me anything beforehand, but did pay for a somewhat pricey pair of pretty hair slides I saw when we were out one afternoon. He bought me a pastry from the patisserie on the corner every day too! To be honest though, seeing him was the best Valentine's Day present I could've asked for, so...

My SO hit it out of the park this year...

He sent me a Date Night package... it was so sweet...

He sent me a dozen long-stemmed red roses. He also sent me a box filled with everything I needed for a Date Night with him on V-Day..

                              Inside the package was:

1 gift card for a 4 course dinner at P.F.Chang's
1 gift card for a 90 minute massage at Massage Envy
3 small bags of Microwave Popcorn

He also setup an online movie for us to watch while we Skyped...

He also gave me a wake-up call in the morning even though its 4 hours earlier than he normally gets up.

                              It was so romantic!!!

When I got back to our flat there was some pretty pink tulips with a card and gift. When he gave me the gift after dinner he said it wasn't for valentines since it was already over. The card was a welcome home card and before I opened the gift he told me it wasn't anything cute or romantic. It was lingerie, he then told me he was sorry for being neglectful and he wanted me to know he still thinks I'm sexy and wants to do bad things to me (sorry if thats too pg-13 for this section!) Haha I thought it was romantic, in its own way.
