Do you and your SO have nicknames for each other??

What kind of nicknames do you and your SO have?

I haven't find one for him yet... but we just started our LDR... I just call him baby, sweetheart, babe, darling, angel, pretty boy, sexy boy... pretty common nicknames I guess... he's given me a few, he says he's trying to find one that suits me, and so far he's called me bunny, cocotte (apparently it's something like darling or honey in french), pine cone (my exact first thought was WTF?? but I do love pine cones so i think it's sweet), pupusa (it's a traditional dish from El Salvador... he's kinda crazy...), lasagna eater, and the regular nicknames like baby girl, dear, etc...

Ok, now I want to know some of yours...

Just a disclaimer: My SO and I are really weird.

My SO calls me manama. I call him badaba. I have no idea how this started. But it's continued for about 2 years.... so there must be a reason.

      See? Weird.

He calls me: babe, baby and hun And in Dutch he says schatje (baby/cuty/love) and lieverd (darling/love)..

I always call him lieverd, and sometimes schatje..

He calls me baby, babe, and boo boo bear. xD I have no idea how it got started but it makes me giggle everytime he does it. He loves saying it as well. But my personal favorite which he only uses when he's being really sentimental is angel.
Then I call him babe, sweetheart, and sometimes, very rarely, boo.

We call each other "my love" and "mi amor". I call him "sweetie" in texts sometimes.

"Do I love you? My God, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches."

"Cocotte" is such a funny word. It actually is an older slang term for 'prostitute', but it really can be used as anything from a term of endearment to a really pejorative slur. A guy once called me "cocotte" on the métro and my boss at my internship was quite shocked, but my SO told me that lately it's been recycled as a pet name.

Me and JP's lists of nicknames for each other are exhaustive and embarrassing When we first started dating, he called me 'skittlepop' (I have no idea where that came from), and eventually he sort of Verlan-ized it to 'popsicle', and now we add the -sicle ending to everything (lovesicle, méchantsicle, sleepysicle, croquesicle). I started calling him 'monsieur croque monsieur' because he likes croque monsieurs, and that evolved to 'professeur croque professeur' because he's an assistant professor. He calls me 'croque madame'. Also, I think deriving from that, we've both started to call each other 'croc-croc,' which is a French onomatopoeia for nibbling or biting, sort of similar to 'om nom nom' in English. And then there are times where we create Frankensteins of these, like 'monsieur croc-croc sleepsicles' or 'madame skittle lovesicles". 'Bébé croc' is reserved for when one of us is really upset or feeling extra sentimental.

                    We're special, aren't we?

Online I always greet him 'Hi Honey' and I will call him 'Dear Man', or 'Sweetie' (Thanks to Riversong from Doctor Who).
Online he calls me 'Dear' or 'Sweet Cheeks' on occasion, usually with a note of sarcasm attached.
In text and in person I will call him 'Skippy' when we are teasing with sarcasm.. and he calls me 'Skip' or 'Skippy' back.
In person I call him 'E' (short for Ian) and I call him 'Honey' but I try not to do it in public.
He calls me 'Chelle' (short for Michelle) occasionally, and 'Cheek' or 'Cheeky' at home.

Everything I know, and anywhere I go, It gets hard but it won't take away my love,
And when the last one falls, when it's all said and done, It gets hard but it won't take away my love

Whenever I greet her, it's always "sweetheart," and when we leave for the night, it's "good night, princess."

Absolutely NO "babe" for either of us! We feel like it's way too overused nowadays (by young teens especially). Sometimes when we accidentally cut off "baby," one of us always responds with, "Uh...what did you call me?" We're weird I guess :P

He likes to call me "gooberhead." I guess I was doing something dorky and cute and he called me "goober" and it stuck. It makes my family laugh when they hear him calling me that.

He calls me "butthead".... I don't know why but I can't get him to stop. haha.

I call him really lame names (babe, booboo) that I wish I didn't but I can't seem to find anything fitting for him that I feel comfortable saying out loud, for him or anyone else to hear. If I don't want to use anything I'll just call him by his full name.
