Tehee. Puking rainbows, eh? I wondered why this thread was so pretty.
But thank you for letting me share my happiness, and for sharing in it with me, everyone! I was so upset earlier! My mother threw out the box and wrapping and everything claiming I'd left it in her car (she'd dropped me off at the bus stop and I didn't have room in my bag, so, not sure where I was supposed to leave it) and I almost lost everything. D: Luckily we forgot to take the trash out, so none of it was taken away completely, and I saved every last scrap. <3 Still smells yummy.{ Our Story on LFAD }

Aww! Good thing you saved it! That was so sweet of him!
Did the chocolate survive the trip without melting? I was thinking of sending my SO Reeses but I'm afraid they would melt. It's so hot where I live and if they happen to sit in a truck overnight...they will melt.

Awww that's so amazing. You have a great guy
It's nice when you feel down and all of a sudden, you get such a surprise. I've been really down lately and my SO wrote me something that comes very close to a love poem, naming all the things why he loves me. It made my day.

@eveningsky - Yes, the chocolate survived! Surprisingly. I have sent my SO Reeses before, before they started selling them more over there, and they arrived fine as well, and I have also sent him a hollow chocolate penguin. I believe a key to keeping things fresh and unmelted is to insulate insulate insulate. It seems counterproductive, at least to me (I usually associate insulation with keeping things warm), but it actually has surprisingly worked well for me when sending chocolate. The other thing is that even melted chocolate can be refrigerated.
@Kiyama - Aw! That's so sweet!{ Our Story on LFAD }
