Or any piece of durable jewelry your SO got you (like a promise ring, or you lucky ones engagement ring)? I was just curious. HBB bought us both LFAD support bracelets back when when we first got together, and honestly except when he was here visiting (since for 2 months we were CD I didn't wear it) I have never taken it off. Not even when we fight and break up, it always stays on and gets washed when I shower. My mom is like this with her wedding ring, I remember when she had to get it resized a few years back she actually cried as it was cut off (arthritic knuckles) and said "That is the first time that has been off my finger since your dad put it on me 25 years ago". Oddly I never thought I would ever be able to do that with anything since jewelry usually bothers me and I cannot wait to take it off...but this bracelet is different. Its like it represents the sacrifices and joys HBB and me have experienced. I was wondering if you do this, or if you are like HBB and keep it on unless you are showering?

Do you leave your LFAD bracelet on?

Usually with jewelry I have a hard time keeping it on because it almost always ends up getting wet and discoloring my skin and the metal itself. I have an LFAD bracelet, though, and that I keep on no matter what, since it's water proof and quite durable.

Well I never take any of my jewelry off when I shower anyway but the shirt my SO gave me, I've slept with it every day for a year now, if I need to wash it I make sure it's done before I go to bed, if I sleep over at a friends I make sure I'm wearing it or I bring it with me, sadly I don't think I'd be able to sleep without it anymore.

I used to, but the issue is that my wrists and hands are quite dainty/petite, so I was at risk of losing it unless I pushed it back up my arm. :/ I have considered cutting it and then putting it back together somehow, so it'd fit better, but I don't trust myself not to screw it up.
I'm thinking of finding something else that's equally as representative of my relationship with my partner and using that as a replacement. I did wear my bracelet when going to meet him at the airport, however, and he wears his LFAD bracelet and also a red, white, and blue ribbon that I braided before we were even exclusive without taking either of them off.{ Our Story on LFAD }

no bracelet yet... but my SO gave me a necklace for our first Christmas together. It's a silver heart with diamonds in it. It's so pretty... I wear it all the time. I take it off to shower only because I find that keeps it cleaner longer. So I hang it on the doorknob when I shower. I love having a necklace to wear.
I keep telling him that I'd love to have a ring to wear... He says I will... I guess I just don't get to know when. lolMet online: Nov 2010 - Met in person: Nov 20, 2010

When my SO first sent me his necklace and bracelet I never ever took it off. The bracelet only came off once by accident when he commented on my small wrists and I somehow lost it.... (was freaking out, fortunately i found it) When he later sent me a ring I wear it constantly and only take off to wash it, or when he was here and took it off me. And now we added a new bracelet, we both have matching ones that we literally gorilla glued on us haha so only way off is to cut it. But I wear all these, day and night, when I shower or do anything. My daily reminders of himI love you Nathan <3

I don't have a LFAD bracelet so no answer there :/
I do have a promise ring though :] I only take it off to shower, sleep, and do the dishes. I don't trust it not to get messed up by water and I can't have any jewelry on when I sleep. I wear it at all other times though. I love having the reminder of him and, well, it's the nicest piece of jewelry I have!
