Weird Quirks and Habit's of Your SO's

What are some weird habits that your SO's have? There's a similar thread that came up that was something about quirks that irritate you but you wouldn't change, but I just mean, in general...things that when they told you they did or you saw them do, you were like, "You do what, what way?". My SO just told me he mixes his hot chocolate with a fork lol.

My SO calls dinner supper. I guess its just what she grew up on. She also has a slight midwest accent l(long o's) I love it. Last year I lived with 5 people from wisconsin and picked one up myself. LOL She snorts when she laughs really hard too.

I think this is a very common one for men, but when he watches TV, he almost always sits with his one of his hands in his underwear waistband XD Like not fiddling with himself low (eeew), but just so his finger tips are under the waistband. He didn't notice it till I told him, now it drives him crazy haha

and one that can REALLY test my patience- he is a serial channel hopper. Like, as soon as the commercial comes on in the middle of a program I am watching, he starts flipping channels, usually making me miss my show... and when I was sat reading in bed last night, he literally spent 15 minutes just constantly channel hopping. now that drives ME crazy!

My SO is an odd guy. And I love him for it. He doesn't watch tv, doesn't like movies, and isn't really into sports at all.

He is really obsessive about his food being clean. He won't let me fix a sandwich for him (though he is ok with me cooking). He also is really sensitive about topics of conversation while he's eating. I grew up in a big, loud family. So I got used to unconventional, often gross, dinner conversation at an early age. Those things are hard for me to understand.

One thing he does that just gets on my nerves is he picks at his nails. Of course, he keeps them incredibly short, but when one is uneven, he just picks at it. And it's loud... He also gets ingrown toenails, and will dig them out with a (sterilized) box cutter. Uck...

He has a condition where he gets dehydrated easily, so he has to drink a lot of water. Which means he has to pee a lot, too. Like every hour, and every time we go somewhere. I've gotten used to it, but it's still odd that he is always in the bathroom.

In some ways, I'm excited I won't be living with a boy, though I'll miss him terribly.

My SO dislikes tv and most movies. He basically only ever wants to watch martial arts movies.

He has a passion for exercise, which I personally don't see in many people. He'll exercise in the morning, even if he's too tired to even be awake. I really admire that about him.

Another thing that I love and hate at the same time about my SO...He sleep talks and moves me around in my sleep! Once he pulled my leg over to him and put it in between his legs and muttered something about being comfortable. Another time, he raised his head up and went, "Julia, where are you?!" and then he started fumbling about and got his sweaty armpit in my face. Then he just started rubbing my head with both hands and made this "Ohh~" of happiness. And I was just like... "Go to sleep!" and he replied, "But I'm too sleepy to sleep!" But then fell right back to sleep. Another time he woke up and called out for me, I thought, "Maybe if I ignore him, he'll leave me alone..." Nope! He started poking my shoulder until I patted him on the chest!

The funniest thing is that he has no memory of doing it! He's kind of a pain to sleep next to, but I'd take his sleep-harassment over a lonely bed any time.

xD My SO hates when I pour ketchup straight on the fries. I don't really care, but he says they get soggy. I guess I can see it. Or not putting the knife back in the cream cheese after I've already used the knife on a slice of bread. Says crumbs will get into the cheese. XD I love those quirks about him though lol!

He's very OCD with the way he organizes his computer and loves to mess with them.

also i noticed that he likes to erase all his txt history, except mine, he says that the less space occupied in data electronics the better and faster it works. true i started doing it too lol

i dnt remember more for now

He has to peel the the bread, and eat that before he eats the cheesy middle of his grilled cheese o.o. He will steal my sheets. I give the son of a bitch his own sheet, and he still takes mine! D:< We both end up losing track of time all the time, but unlike him I actually make sure to look at a damn clock XP. He has a bad habit of trying to make small talk in the kitchen. Bitch, I'm channeling my inner Gordon Ramsay, stop talking! D:<

I hate when my SO also puts the ketchup straight on the fries too for the same reason. I let her and just eat around them.

Miguel fusses with his hair like a damn women. Honestly, it´s hilarious to watch. I´ll never tell him though because I get a secret giggle out of watching him do it :P I´ve written on this wesbite ad nauseum about him acting cat like constantly. And we can be in the middle of the most intense discussion, and he´ll become COMPLETELY distracted if a fancy car drives by. Oh, and he´s a big old blanket hog.

I am also guilty of this. It´s comfy!

I´m the really weird one in our relationship though. I talk to myself, like constantly. He thought it was just me being cute for his benefit, until one day he went to the bathroom and I just kept going... :P I eat meals one thing at a time. And the thing that drives him insane, is that I can´t JUST watch a movie. I have to be multitasking for me to sit through a whole one, I just down´t have that kind of attention span. But he´s a movie fanatic, so if I look away from the screen at a part he likes, he HAS to rewind it and force me to watch it again, because he doesn´t believe me that I got the point already :P

My SO is a notorious sock-baller. He claims it's because he doesn't want to loose his socks (whatever!) so I put up with it. He also, instead of filling up the sink, leaved the water running whenever he shaves. It's soooo annoying. I think I'm going to smack him the next time he does it, lol.

I have to defend your SO here....
You have to leave the sink running, otherwise you can't properly clear the previously shaved hair from the blades. It's just proper technique.

and I became the man I never thought I'd be
and now my biggest challenge, a thing called love
I guess I'm not as tough as I thought I was

sleeping with my SO is always an experience... I guess I was just taught when I make the bed to kind of tuck the sheets in around the edges so when you get into bed they're all cozy and snug around the edges and everything just looks nicer. but he HATES it. he'll just get in bed and start flailing around and kicking his legs until everything is all messed up and the sheets are in a big tangle until he decides that he's comfortable while I just glare at him. he's also ALWAYS hot while I'm always cold, so he'll pile all the blankets on top of me in the middle of the night. :P he also talks in his sleep fairly frequently, one night he sat up straight in bed and was like "where am I?!" and looked really panicked and I had to calm him down and tell him he was in his own bed and everything was okay... he didn't remember it in the morning. :P

this is probably just his Australian accent, but when I say the letter "H" it's pronounced like "aych" if that makes sense. but he says "haych." like with the h sound at the beginning of it. the first time he said that around me I nearly died laughing. now he's all sensitive about it. :P

he also gets motion sick easily, poor thing. so I've had to take care of him a few time when we've gone on trips. it's kind of cute really and I don't mind :3 but I do feel bad when he doesn't feel well.

two more little things: he makes crazy faces when playing video games (I guess that's pretty normal, but still funny!) and he's a complete weirdo and cooks scrambled eggs in a pot with a spoon. :P

My SO has a stutter & while most of the time I think it's kinda cute, when we're having a fight I find it beyond annoying. I know he can't help it but sometimes I just wanna scream "Just spit it out"
