We were just talking earlier and we remembered how our first kiss was and i got the idea of making a thread to tell the story behind first kisses with your SO. It's a lovely memory and sometimes it just gets forgotten over time and it's a shame to see it disappear, so i'm gonna write it here, the moments between when we met and we kissed, didn't take that long anyway
Our first kiss was under .. peculiar circumstances. He just arrived at the airport and i'd just picked him up, when i surprised him with a 3-4 day trip to Danube. My colleagues from school decided to have a little outing and one of them came to pick us up and drive us there, roughly 60km from Bucharest, at a place called Malu Rosu, near Giurgiu. So we just dropped off his luggage, picked up some last minute shopping for a barbecue, and off we went.
The ride there was pretty fun just checking each other out and making light conversation, he was so overwhelmed with the change of scenery and trying to follow with my friends' conversation which he couldn't understand a word out of. We had the backseat all to ourselves, another friend was supposed to join but she hitched a ride with someone else so we had all the room in the world, and the further we drove the closer we got to each other.
I remember i was dying with excitement at the thought of holding his hand and finally feeling his warmth and the softness of his skin.. call me a helpless romantic. I was moving my hand subtly closer and closer, waiting for him to grab it; wanted to give him time to adjust, but deep down inside i was screaming at him: Grab it already!
Long story short, he did, massive butterflies, we cuddled .. and the cuddling didn't stop till he left for home . Fun part began when we finally got to where we were supposed to stay for a few days. I took a risk with that because i've never been there before and my friends failed to mention the "no power" part and the swarms of mosquitoes lurking about.
We got there and the main concern quickly became hiding from the mosquitoes, cause my very smart friends kept the doors open and the house was full of them, so we decided to grab a blanket and stay outside near the fire in the hopes that the smoke will drive them away.
Next thing i know we were rolled up in the blanket trying to cover feet, and elbows, and being surrounded by the lovely humming of those damn mosquitoes, and every time one of us moved the other got some body part unprotected by the blanket that was immediately attacked by the insects.
So among all the squirming and the buzzing and the smoke, he kissed me . Just a small, quick shy kiss, but boy.. plenty more kisses came after that
I have written a ridiculously long post for totally selfish reasons, so that i might come back from time to time and relive those lovely moments
