    Weird Hang-Ups

Do you have any weird hang-ups in your relationship?

I, for example, cannot stand pizza breath/kisses. Morning breath? Sure, no problem. Garlic breath? Completely doable. But pizza breath? I literally recoil. It's something about still being able to taste it even after it's been long gone that... genuinely bothers me. So the rule has become we both have to brush our teeth (and tongues) after eating pizza before any serious kissing, or more, goes on. And if I taste it on lips? Game over until it's gone.

So what about you? Any silly hang-ups? This thread, of course, is meant to be more fun/funny than serious.

My SO doesn't like the sound of me brushing my teeth or anyone for that matter so he'll do his thing in that bathroom first then I'll go after. I can't think of any of my own at the moment.

My SO will only hold hands with my right hand and if my thumb isn't in a certain position on his hand he will move it. Sometimes I move it back to aggravate him. Haha. :P

I can't bear my SO touching my skin if he hasn't washed his hands for a few hours. Not that his hands ever get filthy dirty, but if we've been out and about and a normal day's grime has been building up, you know? I swear I can feel the germs Haha, it was a bit awkward at first to ask if he wouldn't mind giving them a quick wash, but now if he forgets I just say "paws!" and he rolls his eyes and goes to the sink

I usually can't stand anybody touching my hair. I cringe when my SO does it but I usually let him. As a courtesy
He doesn't like me touching his tummy very much. Especially his navel. Sometimes I do it on purpose :P

I have a lot of funny things. I hate when my SO breathes on me. Or puts pillows on top of me. Or touches me with sock feet. Or barely touches me. Or makes any sort of mouth noise. ... I could probably go on forever.

He doesn't like when the dog leaves puppy prints in the house and goes ape shit until I clean it.

I don't do cheese nips breath, burger breath, or after-mowing sweat. I can do most of other bad breaths and after-workout or its-just-hot sweat, but something about the smell of freshly mowed grass mixed in makes me gag.
He can't stand the sound of nail filing. It's like nail on a chalkboard for him... now that I think about it, it IS nails on an emery board. Hm...

My SO hates morning breath. I'll roll over and try to kiss him, and he'll push me away and say I'm too stinky. :P I used to get offended, but then I smelled his morning breath once and I completely understand!

I can't stand when he burps after drinking cider. Sometimes he just keeps doing it, and it's like, "Stephen, get a room!!!"

I also can't stand the smell of leftover beer/cider after a night out--basically, just the state our room is in if we go to bed and leave a pint half-full or something. Ugh, the thoughts of it now even make me recoil...:P

And who likes farts trapped under blankets? Every time my SO does that, he just quips, "It's the excitement!" and I can't help but burst out laughing. So, it's a love/hate occasion.

I hate the sound of nail filing, being lifted and anyone touching my feet.
He really doesn't have any weird hang ups that I've noticed maybe he's hiding them from me.

I hate it when I smell someone's breath (in general, but also my SO's), so I make us brush teeth after everything we have been eating, guess he got used to that pretty quickly And I don't like it when my hair gets touched when I'm wearing scarves. Just doesn't feel in place anymore then haha. Too bad my SO always does that....

When we hold hands, he always has to be on the left side. The other side just "feels weird", in his words. He's actually stopped when we were walking somewhere just to switch sides, haha. Other than that, I can't really think of any... I'm sure they'll all come out full force once we move in together!

I can't "surprise" wake up my boyfriend, like by hitting him playfully with pillows, jumping on him or anything. He'll instinctively hit back xD He doesn't like having his belly poked either :P
