How about a thread to let off some steam?
Try and keep them short and sweet in here though, any long posts wanting advice or opinions deserve their own thread
This is for those little things they do that just get on your nerves!
Inspired by my wonderful other half, Tanja... I'll happily start off
Ok, it's about straight lines and how stubborn she can be. Get this, it's unreal :|
I was in Finland with Tanja over Xmas, and one day, she gets a bad back - she can't lift anything and needs help to even get on/off the sofa, and this last several days. So one night it snows very heavily and we need to shovel the snow to make a path to the stable. Of course she wants to do it herself but like I'm gonna let her in that condition. Anyways, I start shoveling, and she says do this or do that cause it's easier, which I'm more than happy to do cause she's done this a million times whereas I haven't. BUT, she then says the edges of the path through the snow isn't straight :|
I was like... erm so? There's no-one to see it, it'll snow again tonight, what does it matter? There was a clear path, and it was fairly straight. It's not like it was S-shaped or anything. So she asked me would I straighten the edges - NOT the path remember! The path which you walk on is fine! It's the (couldn't be less important) edges of snow she wants straightened :|
So as the path isn't finished, and there's more to do, I said now, it's pointless, the path is fine, I'm leaving it there. So bearing in mind how bad her back is - she said if I don't do it, she'll do it herself! I couldn't believe it! Mental :|
But I still love her
So... anyone else fancy a little rant? :P
