Only thing I can think of is that sometimes he can crack jokes at the worst times. Getting a lot more used to it, though. :-)

George doesn't really have anything to rant about.
...But he does have the tendency to not call whenever I would like him to. I know he's busy, or just flat out tired whenever he gets home, so I'm trying to get that into my brain. Besides that, George is very much someone who is very-'unrant'ing. Not sure why.
I know he might rant on about me, lol, but I really don't see any flaws.
:P

hahaha. i only just read that (came here to rant, obviously), he's crazy. that's hilarious lol
sorry guys, have to let it out. so after being a bitch yesterday on the phone, i apologized over a txt. 2 hours after i get one saying 'apparently i cant ring you. or so my phone says' (since he changed mobile provider, my texts don't go through, unless i send them from skype and he cant ring me - SUCKS.)... so the next 2 hours later, i wake up and see the text ... seeing he just posted something on fb, i ring ...
him: i'm druuuuunk.
me: where are you?
him: at _______'s. She's drunk too.
[ARRRRGGGGHHHHH. out of all the people in the world there is THIS-ONE-GIRL i get really jealous about. i wanted to meet her when i was there, but he thought it wasnt that important. They live in different towns, an hour from each other. And go to gigs together with her friends very often. And basically are pretty good friends... and she's the one he lied about talking to while he was ignoring my msgs. And he's at her place. Both drunk!!!]
me: .... riiiiiiight.
him: And ______ (male) is drunk too. He wants to go to sleep, no, she wants to go to sleep.
[and for the rest of the phonecall he was talking shit to them, threw his phone away, went and got it, started playing piano, went to get a beer ... and did all sorts of other stuff. with me being on the other side]
me: okay, im hangin up. bye.
him: oh, you're still here? yeh, bye.
Seriously. I know i was supposed to keep it short and sweet, but that doesn't even deserve its own thread. I know i am really biased when it comes to partying and even though it happens i have guys staying over at my place, or i stay at their places... but i still cant get over him getting drunk with HER. i just don't want them to have too much fun together. and it kills me to know that they probably talk more than we do... ;/ arrrrrgggghhhh.

i hate it when he doesn't even bother to reply my messages. i know he read them (well, thanx to BBM) but can't he just reply? if he's so busy can't he just reply with "sorry hon, I can't talk to u right now"
i'll appreciate it more, because i don't have any intention to disturb him at his busy time or his own "me-time" (because i too don't like it when he's kind of interrupting my me-time). and almost half of a week for a month i have to face this, it's normal to rant bout this behavior right?Last edited by ncyl; July 18, 2010, 06:19 AM.

His using 'lol' when he's not happy. It's a telltale sign now, but it still irks me because I feel he's making slight of something serious. I also hate his habit of not waking me anymore when he's actually on before work and his excuse of "Well I don't know when you went to bed." I don't work, hon, I can go back to bed when you leave. I also hate the being invis on AIM and MSN all the time thing but I know he has reasons.
One thing that got me was learning he gave me a fake name when we first began dating a month later. Didn't appreciate having to browbeat him for his real name. I understand you hate it and prefer the fake name but you don't give your girlfriend a false name, dear lord.

i hate it when my boyfriend says he wears the pants in our relationship, when clearly, i do
and when he wont admit hes whipped, when again, clearly he is :')
hes stubborn and needs to feel he has his pride, but i'm twice as stubborn and i wear the pants
i love him to bits though, i really hope he reads this :')

it kills me when i don't hear from matt for days on end, but then feel terrible when i can't organise a skype date, because i don't know what i'll be doing.
i love it when he sends me presents. he's not much for words, and likes to give gifts. they tend to be super lovely and special. i can't wait to see him and thank him properly for all of them!
i wish i could show and tell him how much he means to me...

Love this thread. Amazing!
Ok. So here is my rant: I have sent quite a few little things (letters, photos, packages) to him via snail-mail and have EXPLICITLY stated that I like to get these things too. Now, it's not the material aspect of it, but the excitement of getting something handwritten or that I can physically touch. It's also the emotional satisfaction of knowing that he cared enough to put some thought into sending me something "for no reason."
The only thing I have received from him in the mail is something I basically sent myself - I typed up a "pre-visit check list" and mailed it to him before his first visit since our transition from close-distance to LD. (The check-list was just a little list of things that we could do, that I could stock in the fridge for him, etc... mostly jokes, but some serious, some naughty). I included a self-addressed stamped envelope in there and insisted that he send back the check-list. So he filled it out and sent it back. This is literally the only thing I've received from him. The funny thing is, he always thinks it's cute when I send him things. Ugh!
Write me a darn love-letter! Or send me a post-card! Or, how about some flowers?!!!?!
Aside from this, he's amazing... So fun to finally vent about this nonsense though!

One more thing I forgot:
I HATE when I check my DeviantART page and see he visited either really late at night or in the morning before work and doesn't contact me, especially the times he's done it and I've been online. Bugs the everloving crap out of me. I can understand just checking stuff before work/bed, but can't I get a hello?

Good thread. I only have a few things that really get to me about my SO.
I hate that he never thinks of himself first. Not just with me, but with everyone. He can't say no. And he's a good handy man so everyone takes advantage of that. He is constantly doing some project for someone and he is exahusted. But then on top of the fact that he never thinks of himself first, he gets frusterated when I think of him and his comfort and his wants before mine! Can you say hypocrite? I know people are irrational when they love someone, but still!
And another thing that kinda has to do with that is that he's always worried about me being stressed. So if something stressful is happening to him, he won't tell me so that I don't worry about it. There was one time that he worked 20 HOURS OVERTIME one week at work and his boss called him in on Monday and told him that they wouldn't be paying him for the extra time because they couldn't afford it! Even though they were the ones that called him and told him they needed him to work extra! And of course, he didn't tell me about it. I found out from my friend (who knows my SO and talks to him every now and then). She didn't know that I didn't know. I know he's trying to spare me the worry, but he should know he needs to talk to me about everything. Not just the good stuff.
I love him very much and I just want him to think about himself first every now and then. He's too kind and willing to say yes to anything asked of him. He can't even say no to salesmen. Ugh.First conversation 11.5.09 First meeting 11.7.10 Closed the distance 5.14.14 Married 6.14.14
