Closing the distance can't even be a consideration for us until at least 2017.

As with some of the previous posters, we'll see where we are in 2015 (around the summer).

As soon as my I-130 is approved. It's in the initial review stage & has been for around two and a half months now. Average time this process takes they say is around five months. Then its passed to immigration in London which can take a few months. So I'm keeping fingers, toes, legs, eyes crossed that I'll be moving over some time in Jan/Feb.......

We're keeping our fingers crossed to cut the distance dramatically before the end of this year, but we won't completely close the distance until we're married. (Which I'm hoping will be towards the end of 2013. (but that depends entirely on him.......)

          2016 Goal: Buy a house.

2017 Goal: Pay off credit card debt
          Progress: Working on it.

hopefully we aim to close the distance as soon as uni is over for both of us, however im not sure whether we will stay in my state or go to his, either way they are close to eachother so its not much of a deal just family wont be a short car trip away

Well, we're getting married in May so soon after that. I'm hoping for August, but it all depends on if/when the UK decides to issue me a visa. Next year for sure though!

Honestly, I'm not sure when we're going to officially close our distance, but ideally I'm looking at it as the time when we've both graduated from college. That way, I have a lot more time to save up on getting a visa and we would try to at least establish a footing for ourselves in anything we want to do. So, a set date for us? Not for now, but maybe later. =)
