Auckland is a tad rainier than Vancouver I think, and yeah, I HATE it. Rain is the worst thing EVER to me. I don't know... you guys are all giving me great points. I'm still feeling very very apprehensive about this. I don't know why I'm so stubborn. I think the most important thing I need to focus on is the fact that this isn't just *for him* - plenty of people (just like my friends) go to Canada for working holidays all the time for the fun of it. Because moving to the other side of the Pacific Ocean JUST for a guy is something I can't imagine doing. (look at me, so romantic)

There's a place on earth rainier than Vancouver? I'm never going there! Haha

But seriously, we can keep coming up with good reasons to go until you buckle...

I'm sure it's not just for him. But even if it was, it's probably more about the great sex than any of that sappy romantic shit.

Working holidays look really great on your resume too, makes you look outgoing, ambitious and fun. Can't fault anything that will give you an edge over some other guy in an interview, now can you?

Alright. That last comment about the resume sold me. The pros are now outweighing all those cons I had in my mind.

Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.

I estimate I should have enough money saved up to live comfortably for a few months (should I not be able to find a job immediately) by April next year. So as long as I can keep this weird close friendship-relationship-in love-thing going on for another 6 months... I guess that's when I'll "close" the distance. Eep!!
