Brandon sure acted like a ...well you know, men have it between their legs
why would Lara be so naive,i mean i really feel sorry for her.if a person says i love you, please keep up to your words.for real love people stand up against their families and of course they are able to combine studies and relationship.i really would slap Brandon because he just kept Lara as a toy near him.sad

I'm not saying that it won't last, I'm just saying that if you already think like that after a week of being in a relationship, you're just naive, because you can't know yet. The point is, Brandon is free to do whatever he wants, but he chose to have a relationship with Megan after Lara told him she would come. So he has betrayed Lara and now she will go to America without actually having Brandon. And that really hurts for her, because this isn't what she's been waiting for all this time. It's just, Brandon doesn't appear to have much respect for Lara's efforts. He just can't have her book an expensive trip to him and change her for another girl after that. But well, she trusted him too much, and apparently that was naive. So yes, now she'll have to move on, because a betrayal like this is unforgivable, due to the circumstances and how it could have easily been avoided. Megan isn't the only girl that can make him happy there, and even if she really is that special, he could have just waited to date her for one month.

I know it doesn't seem like it, but I promise Lara would have been more hurt had Brandon met up with her in America and dated Megan after Lara left.

End of the story: Lara didn't except it anymore and when she's there she will take the plane to a friend of hers who lives in another state of America to spend the week there. Brandon would have Megan with him when he would meet Lara, so obviously Brandon doesn't give a shit about Lara's feelings anymore. He would just torture her emotionally. So, I guess Lara made the right decision. She accepted a lot, but now it had become too much. She cried more than ever, but she'll have to accept this loss and move on now. One day Brandon would realize what a jerk he had been. The two of them will never meet. Brandon, I hope you're proud of yourself. In my opinion, there was nothing dramatic about Lara's reaction to what you were doing to her. But you won't see it. Not yet, at least. Once Megan leaves you, I hope you will feel sorry for how you treated Lara in the end. You were a wonderful boyfriend in those past 1,5 years, but you really screwed up the end. I am so sorry for you.

I am new on this forum and I have read so many stories where people start having relationships without ever meeting the other person... I believe it can be very real and intense in this way too, but how can it last for a year and a half without meeting each other? Surely in that amount of time, one of you can organise a trip to see the other if you're so in love... I guess my long distance relationship also started when we were already apart and online, but we immediately planned a visit and saw each other a few months after confessing how we feel. I understand you two were also really young, but dear Lara, forget your Brandon - he probably didn't see the whole story as real as you did. Also -did he ever allow YOU to date anyone else? You have sacrificed yourself too much in this story, find it in you to love yourself and consider the option that Brandon maybe wasn't such a wonderful boyfriend in this time after all (neglecting you for studies, burdening you with if-you-want-to-come-do-it-secretly - there's no way you can plan such a trip in secret, it's quite a big investment...) So think before you act and let Brandon have his life with having a fulfilling one of your own, living in the moment and place you are.
