hey everyone. just an update. my fiance was told today that he has small cell carcinoma, which is an extremely aggressive form of lung cancer. he's still waiting to be scheduled for ct scans to see if it has metastisized thruout his body. all of his symptoms indicates that it has. he's a very sick man. I am going to see about being written out of work so I can fly down to be with him. I'm seeing my doc next week (earliest appt). he now has to talk to his female roommate (some of you know she hates me for absolutely no reason) and either get her to stay the hell away or pack her crap and get the hell out. it's so funny... he sees her maybe once or twice a month for less than 10 minutes. she spends no nights there and only goes there to pick something up infrequently. yet she finds out from him that I'm coming and she acts all psycho. we don't need her crap anymore. my fiance has very little time on this earth and we don't need her sh*t. we need to concentrate on what is the best thing that he needs. I hope his ex-wife stops being her usual b*tch self and allows him to see his kids. she barely allows it now. knowing her she'd keep them away to hurt him. let's hope that doesn't happen.
I don't know how often I'll stop by here but just know I thank you for your prayers and I hope you're all enjoying your LDR's. if I could give one piece of advice to anyone who's engaged to be married and waiting for that "perfect time" to get married (the right dress, venue, season, etc.). please don't wait. if you love your SO and can get married- do it. I only wish I married mine when we started talking about it (we knew we already wanted to). you just never know how much time you're gonna have together. my fiance and I thought we'd have 40 years.. we might not even have thru next month.
