I think the title is self-explanatory, but how do you actually make everything better when you have just gone back to the normal distance? I know organising new trips is a good idea but do people have any other?

How to bear it when you just leave?

It does get easier with time. For me, the first 2 weeks after a trip are always the worst. I don't really do anything about it either. I allow myself to be sad, eat naughty food etc. Get into your normal routine again.
After that it's already quite a bit easier to deal with. Just try and keep yourself busy with anything really. Time will fly and before you know it, you're already booking your next trip

For me just getting back into a routine helps. For instance, after a few days of us just skyping when he gets home from work and is done running errands, I look forward to our skype dates, instead of pining because I can't see him in the morning before he leaves for work. Good luck! So, here you are
too foreign for home
too foreign for here.
Never enough for both.

I think the best thing to do is just let yourself grieve. It took me weeks to get back to normal after a month-long visit. My heart was broken.
Let yourself have a week or two to recuperate and don't rush the process because it won't work. Also, of course make plans for the future. That helps.

Everytime I come home from seeing my SO I'm back in work the same day, it keeps me busy and I work a ton of overtime, so I don't think too much lol, but it can't be helped, if we didn't feel this way they maybe we wouldn't love or care as much as we do, it's a good sign, just have to learn to control it really
