If it makes you feel any better, my parents had a 31 year gap (my mother being in her late 20s and my dad being in his mid-late 50s) between each other and they managed to be happily married for years. 
Yeah, the age gap between an 18 year old and a 30-something year old would be seen as really off the mark to most people, but for your parents' sake, they're just worried that he might be using you. Have they met each other before? It could help clear things up between them.
As for the gaming part? Just try and speak with him about it and see if you guys can come to a consensus or not.
