Anyways, as far as how I escaped, I'm afraid I can't divulge that information... :O

(Also, as far as the green card/work permit, it's a work in progress still. The check is cashed for our wedding certificate, and then once that is sent back, we can mail out the AoS and request for a work permit. If only it would go faster. >.<)
