I agree completely. Revenge and cutting contact for weeks at a time has no place in an LDR. Communication is all we have. Keeping the channels open is most important. There is a difference between giving a bit of space and time to think or work things out in your own mind, or work on your own issues, while still leaving channels open, and cutting contact for spite. It doesn't work, and hurts both of you.
