sweet little things we do for our SO's

I've written him a few poems and if I know I'll be at work before he leaves for work, I try to e-mail him before I leave for work just to tell him to have a good day at work and that I love him. He's really into gardening, so I like to cut the gardening article out of the local weekly newspaper and send it to him.

I'll randomly send him cards in the mail. he loves it. he gets so excited

I usually text him throughout the day, just to let him know I'm thinking about him.
I'll also send him offline messages when he goes to work [He works 10 pm-6 Am] so that way, he has something to read when he gets off of work.
I've also gotten into the habit of sending letters to him in the mail and include something in them =]

We text/msn alot throughout that day so cant really suprise him much with those...however I do send a few 'I love yous' throughout the day since ive been back ive been doing a memories book of our visits, we've only had 2 and only have pictures from the last one but I figured I can keep adding to it with time is just something fun and nice for both of us to share and keeps me busy xD

Random cards....messages on his answering machine when he gets back from working overnights....messages on FB...stickers on yearbook..anything to show him he is on my mind 24/7...

I try to send him cards every two weeks or so. Who doesn't like getting snail mail that isn't a bill or junk?

I just try to do little things. Now that he's back in the US, I'm able to text him. Today was his first day at his new job so I did the whole encouraging "Have a good first day! I know you'll be great. I love you." Which I guess was just what he needed, when I got his response.

I like to send him cards with sweet notes in them. I don't tell him I'm sending them so its a suprise when he gets it. When I worked at the daycare this summer, when ever we were making crafts I would make them really cute with "I love you" or some cute saying on them. Then I would give the crafts to him. He loved it!

Whoever wakes up first (pretty much always me!) will text a "Good morning!" to the other, and lots of little "I love you"s throughout the day. We send picture messages of little things we know the other would find cute or interesting-- he sends me a lot of pictures of his puppy doing cute things!

And one of the things he misses most is sleeping in the same bed. So we are creeps and "Skype-sleep" ..we put our laptops in bed with us and sleep with the webcams on. If you wake up during the night, you can look over and they're sleeping next to you. He also does this if he's up late studying, he'll have me sleeping on his computer ..it's comforting to him.

The last time i visited my SO i left him a letter in a drawer in his bedroom so when he was down after i left i could tell him where to find it and it made me feel closer to him and he loved it!

The last time I saw my bf, like on the day he left I wrote him a little postcard on which I told him how important he is to me and I told him that I love him for the first time on this card He was very happy when he found it and I gave him a red heart out of wood on which it said 'You & me' in white engraved and then because he loves the snow so much I also gave him a snow globe in which there was a couple that kissed He loved that, because it was a surprise and he opened it on the way home
