How much longer until there is no more distance between your So and you?

As soon as his house sells....which hopefully is very soon.....but it's very hard to have to wait and NOT KNOW.

well we havent really planned anythin but we want it asap... which would be in like... 3-4 years?
If he comes over to Europe after college it would be like 2 years but Im not sure yet... Once we get serious about it I will suggest that... live here for like 2 years till Im done with university and than go to the states or somethin

It'll probably be July for us. My career is more flexible with location than his, (I work in health care, so where there's a hospital, there's a job) so I'll be the one moving most likely.

And while July doesn't seem as long as some people are waiting, we've been long distance for over a year now.

I'm thinking about eight months and a week. I'll be going to see him over my Christmas Break at the end of December for at least two weeks. After that, I'll be back up in Ohio while he's in Florida. Once I graduate, I'll be moving down there.

Once I am done university and Ken is done trades training with the army. So it will probably be fall of 2011.

We are almost at the end of the visa journey so it will hopefully be the beginning of October! So a little over a month

Hopefully he graduates in December and he'll be back in the area (or within an hour's drive) shortly after.
He wants to move in together in February.

Reading about all of you amazing people and the waits you have makes me feel like a sissy for thinking May is frustratingly far away (on the bad days).

I'm very, very lucky because I'm in a position where I can control my future easily and I have lots of mobility because I have almost no stuff, no debts, and no obligations, so I'm socking away 50% of my paycheck each pay period now for a final move in 8 months, two weeks.

tell me about it, i thought waiting a few months was bad but im truly inspired by those who are gonna wait for 5 years or more, or dont even know when the distance is gonna end

Well for me its defo gonna be a few years i wanna start a fresh when i go to be with my SO, without any of my debts following me and putting stress on us before weve started so will prob be a few years at least til i get the bulk paid off if it wasnt for that and my family n friends i would be moving today!!! Hey you never know i may win the lottery and be able to clear my debts and be with him real soon (hey a girl can dream lol)
