for a friend...how to help somebody going thru a breakup????

I guess i should have been more supportive....!!

I read through the posts, you can only do so much for a person. At the end of the day, she's the one in control of her actions, no one can make her do anything good and no one can make her do anything bad. Only she can decide. You did all you could, and the fact you stood up for her and tried to do all you could for her shows that you are a good friend, and someone she can rely on. Right now, that's probably all she needs. So don't blame yourself, when it isn't your fault, and take comfort in the fact you were and continue to remain there for her when she needs a friend.
