I feel like any advice I give you might not be appropriate... I can see that there are some cultural differences between how relationships work in your country and mine work.. Which is perfectly okay. It is important to remember heritage and respect your family's traditions.

The thing that I see is motivation. What drives this relationship? Why is this person that important? (You don't have to answer these questions, just reflect)

I hate time constraints, particularly in ldr's. With the way life has a habit of changing plans and throwing up obstacles, it can become very challenging to accomplish particulars in a set time frame. Even with the best intentions and perfect motivation it can be unrealistic to expect what your parents are asking. Is there any chance they could extend this time if your boyfriend can show that he is taking steps to better himself?

2 years is what i got after crying for weeks...and refusing to go to college. So...there is no way i can extend that period.
Sometimes i wish i never met him so that it wouldn't hurt so much....
