Stay in communication with your spouse but also make sure that missing him is not your only focus. You have a young child that needs your love, attention and caring. I know it probably gets harder when he goes to bed and it's quiet. Take this time to do things for you. Maybe take online classes. Read books or watch the movies or shows you haven't had a chance to yet. Learn to make something that you couldn't' before. Take this opportunity to do some things for you. It will also give you more things to discuss with your spouse when he calls or you Skype. You have a life as an individual. You are not only a spouse and a mother. It seems like you have forgotten this. Time to get yourself back on track. To those who dream, nothing is ever far away.
Distance is to love as wind is to fire. It blows out the little ones and fans the big ones.

R&R has good ideas....
I know the feeling. We are married for two years. I last held him 10 months ago. He misses me too.
We are separate people and no ones life stops when their spouse is far away. You have a young son who needs you. Spend time doing family things. Can you plan a day trip with your child? Does he like the park or library? What adventure can you plan to enjoy with him and then share pictures with your husband. Focus on small things to distract yourself. The time will go by faster as you remember to do things that you enjoy.
*hugs* You can do this!
