We went to dinner at a nice restaurant with his parents, sat down, got the meal. Scott waited until his parents picked up their forks to start eating, and then he said very sharply, "Mom- no! Michelle NEVER starts eating until we say the blessing!" My mouth dropped open, then we laughed... neither Scott nor I are even remotely religious... AT ALL. I can only imagine what his parents thought I must've done to him for a second there, LOL. But it was really cool to be able to joke around with them like thatWe collided and fell out of nothingness... scattering stars like dust

But I don't wanna see/do anything too special, I just wanna see his house and the town he lives in, his University and meet his family and friends etc...
Well there is this HUGE mall I wanna go to, don't remember the name now though

Moon, you're right I can't stop worrying but I'll try to behave
About your not speaking English...My Raine speaks flawless English, but he likes to throw in outrageous, sarcastic remarks in the conversation. When I'm like "WHAT???, he tells me "Oh, sorry, it's just my bad English again". Hah, Jerk Totally use it to your advantage though! Our separation of each other is an optical illusion of consciousness. ~Albert Einstein

I'd love to have some fun on other's expense but I'm not sure if THEY would find it as funny...

Obi has a piece of advice for you, because he has the same opening-mouth-before-thinking issue. If you say something dumb, point out that it was stupid and laugh it off... Or say "wait, that sounded wrong' and try again. Gets him out of trouble all the time.
As for getting along with everyone, I'm sure you'll do fine. You don't have to have anything in common, just don't be afraid to ask questions and listen. Most people love to talk about themselves, and if you let them ramble at you they then think you're a great conversationalist. Or that's how I got through my first trip to Canada
As for the flight, it will probably suck. There's no avoiding that. Try to sleep if you can. Travacalm or gravol or some other flight-sickness medication should make you drowsy enough to drop off, and might calm you down if you think you'll panic. Also, if you're scared, don't look at the plane through the window when you're waiting. Seeing it sitting there the first few times I flew nearly sent me hysterical.
It's all very exciting! I'm sure they'll all love you.Happily married to the little Canadian boy I never thought I'd meet in person
