Me and my SO are great influences on each other, I think. We get each other motivated, get the other to try out new things like art or exercise, and make each other work hard so that we can both have no work to do when we visit each other. He is slowly teaching me to chill out and to relax, and I am getting him to be more enthusiastic about things. He has gotten me more interested in computers and technology, and I have got him drawing and writing poems. He's getting me into cleaning and being more organized, and I'm getting him to learn to relax a little bit when it comes to cleaning. He is teaching me patience, and I am teaching him how to speak out. Us being opposites really helps, because now we have the best of both worlds when it comes to pretty much anything. Hell, I got him into Halo and he's getting me into Call of Duty XD See, anything!
He has upped my self esteem, because after going through an extremely hard break up, he found me and thinks I am the most beautiful girl in the world. I walk around now with a smile on my face because I no longer think I'm ugly, because my SO loves me. He says that he is the happiest man in the world to have found someone who loves him for who he is. My SO was born with a crooked head, and people make fun of it alot, but I don't even notice anymore, because I love everything about him and I wouldn't change it for the world.
I did a lot of changing right before I met and started talking to my SO, but since I've been with him I've definitely become a more patient person. I'm still very impatient but I'm getting better, you have to be in a LDR. Also I've become a happier person, I've always been happy and all my friends call me bubbly but its intensified since I met him. I was a giver before I met him, but I'm more so now. He's helped me to become a lot less selfish. I've also learned what its like to be in true love, not just lust or puppy love but the true thing where you're there no matter what through the bad and the ugly. We've hit a snag or two in the road, nothing serious just little bumps and for the first time I've been able to handle disagreements and come to compromises rather then huge blow-ups. His patience and genuineness and love have rubbed off on me and its a very good thing in my book.

Lol, its the opposite for me. He has all these american words I use more often, it confuses my friends too E.g Sofa and Couch
I'm happy. I never used to smile, or laugh...and I do all the time now.
He's made me a better person--encouraged me, and supported me through anything.
I used to have no self-confidence. Now I do.
I've completely, 100% opened up to him... I've never have with anyone before.
He makes me feel beautiful, wanted, cherished, loved.
He's helped me get over a broken heart.
I care more about how I look, I take more time taking care of myself.
He's made me want to give and give to someone, forgetting about myself.
He supports me with my writing--something only very few do.
Now, because of him, I truly know what love feels like.
I don't think that I speak any differently...but he has picked up that mysterious Canadian accent here and there.

I have to agree with that I keep slipping up with all these funny english words :P
He's pointed out words I overuse and a lot of my negativity. As I don't generally consider myself a negative person, I definitely take when he says things like that seriously.
I haven't picked up a lot of his speech mannerisms, which is surprising to me. The last guy I dated before him...I picked up on many of his phrases and verbal ticks.
If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion...love actually is all around
My bf definitely had changed me but only for the better
He taught me to speak my mind and not be afraid to say the wrong thing or care about what other things. He also taught me to not procrastinate as much since it will bite me in the butt very hard now that i am in college. Lastly he taught me to do more with my life and thats one of main reasons why i am now on my school's water polo team and an intern for this awesome company.
I actually feel like I am somewhat attractive now, before not at all. I have built a lot of confidence within myself and actually resulted in me making a lot of new friends at school, people like me more.... I'm much more mature, I have this feeling that I HAVE to be amazing for her, so I have been working out a lot and losing weight for her....

My SO hasn't really changed me that much. I am pretty set in my ways, but I find myself being a lot more mushier than normal. I think it's because we are forced to use our words more being in a LDR, so I tell him a lot what I love about him and how much I miss him so that he gets that reassurance. Plus, I enjoy flattering him. I am not normally a mushy person. Also, he has brought out the determined side of me because I always am determined to see him quite often and make plans for the future.
because of him i got the help that i needed, i'm not depressed anymore. and i feel that i have helped him open up more and get used to involving another person in his life. and together we have formed our own little words/noises that mean something to just us
how has your SO changed you? Well believe it or not, I always thought I wasn't patient! Our joke phrase is "what's 9 years between best friends?" There are so many things, and every few days I still learn something new about myself from how he sees and values me. Picked up any habits?Ian is the person that inspired me to write so prolifically, because I showed him some of my poems and journal pages, and he encouraged me to write him stories and such. Now when I have something that feels unsorted in my head, I just write it all out and I can sort it, and usually get to know myself much better. Have they put a stop to some of your habits? No he excepts me for exactly who I am, and I feel the same about him. Changed your personality much? I am calm, and peaceful because of him. I use to have terrible panic attacks, but I haven't had one in 6 years or more, I trust myself, because he trusts me so deeply. Do you speak more like them? You couldn't pay me to try and pull off his accent! but I've always been very wordy, and I would often use words that people didn't know. He always knows what I'm saying as he is as well read as I am, I love that. Use phrases they use? We've both changed the way we speak because we've picked up so many phrases from each other. Gobsmacked, Slagging off, funny that, shame that, OI! lol so many more. He loves saying.. "I'm picking up what your laying down" (I understand what you mean) and I tend to make up words that he calls "Michelleisms" so he will use those as well. My best one of those by far is Pervoted! (Perv who's devoted)
