    A new fear

So when i was trying to fall asleep i was struck with fear.

The reason for that fear is that i'm taking 12 units this semester, thanks to being forced to register last of all students this semester only. CSN requires that you take 12 transferable units each semester. The problem is that only 6 of my units is transferable. So i'm terrified to be denied loans for next semester. I can get written from school officials excusing this semester, but not sure if that helps. Next semester i'm scheduled to take some 16 units, transferable.

Idk i'm just scared right now and felt the need of ranting.

I'd be scared too. Is there anyone at the school you can talk to about that, see if it's as big a deal as you think? That might help, getting some for-sure info and they would know how to fix it.

can you ask your parents or a close friend for money and tell them you'll pay them back at some point?

Yeah i will try my best. I'm unable to fall asleep and the thought scares the crap out of me.

We are talking a whole semester of expenses. I doubt they would have the money to spare for that.

          I really had no choice!
I barely scraped up 12 units, thanks for being forced to be one of the last to register for classes.
There's no chance in hell that i could get 12 transferable units. I can get proof of that. They have to believe me. They have to give me next semesters loans.

you should be able to talk to your financial aid counselor (every student has one, whether they realize it or not), and ask them to pull up your information and talk about what you need to do for your situation.

I understand where you're coming from, getting classes these days at some colleges are hard!!! Try your best to explain your situation and pray your units are transferable! Best of luck!

I know people here who have had the same issue. They didn't have enough credits or good enough grades or etc. but had the school write a letter of appeal and everything worked out. Talk to your school, I have no doubts that everything will work out for you!

                      Thank you!

I would like to point out that this is not really financial aid. This is student loans from a swedish agency with a somewhat different policy.
I have right now 12 units, which i have atleast B in all so far. Everything is going great at the school otherwise.
