Totally NOT just you, they come out of the freaking wood work!! All I have to say is THANK GOD, it works that way otherwise I would probably have dated more mistakes, as NO ONE is even remotely similar to Ian.

I dunno about the others here, but personally when I was single and I used to go out with or meet someone I fancied or was trying to impress I tended to 'censor' what I said a bit more. I kinda held back and thought about what I said before I said it...
In contrast, when I went out and was taken, I never bothered 'censoring' anything because I wasn't trying to impress anyone! I just went out to enjoy myself, Really weirdly, I got more attention from the opposite sex when I was being myself and not holding back than when I am!
So for the last 6-7 years I've been doing the whole, 'I am who I am, take it or leave it' thing and really honestly not caring what other people think. To begin with inside I did care, I just projected it outside that I didn't. But after around a year of doing it I actually started not caring inside too! Its such a liberating feeling to be able to go out, speak to anyone, do anything and be exactly who I am without caring what anyone else thinks of me!
You should try it! Its hard work to begin with but once you get going... rawr! :P

It's a confidence thing. When you're in a relationship, most people tend to be happier, more confident and self-assured. And as we all know, confidence is sexy.Kristen & Ryan - Together since October 2008
