I gave Jared a Love Satchel filled with cut out hearts, candy, and a love letter. I also got us cheese cake because we couldn't go to the Cheesecake factory.

My SO got me this He knows that I like Disney and that my mom likes snowmen, so he thought I would like this...which I did
We went to the mall together, and he went shopping for me while we were in the mall together. He got it while I got my haircut--which is very cute now

We'd agreed not to send anything via snail mail, but he sent me a beautiful, heartfelt email expressing his feelings that made me tear up and I made a "smilebox" with photos of us and a love-letter-like text which did the same to him. Moreover, we had a great videochat (one of many great ones recently) and I got to tuck him in again. It might sound ridiculous, because we've had 4 CD-Valentine's Days together, but still I think yesterday was one of the best Valentine's Days we've had so far.

We did the same thing! Heh. I forgot it was valentines day til I got to work and everyone was on a date (I work in a dance studio). My dance partner gave me a rose though. That was nice, I guess. :P

Oh, that's really beautiful! I'm usually not into getting jewelry, but this I would've liked, too! (I like silver jewelry and blue is one of my favorite colors)

He changed my oil and I cooked him dinner. Ahh the perks of dating a mechanic.

My dad used to buy me flowers on Valentine's day because I never had someone to be with. I didn't get any from him this year though. It was still sweet when he did give me them!

My baby got me a whole bunch of things for Valentine's Day, both physical, and virtual. Online, she made up a crossword of herself for me to do, cause I'm a nerd and like puzzle like stuff lol. :P And she sent me a box, that had a shirt she wore before sending to me so it smells like her, and a card from both her, and little Zoe the Chihuahua. She also sent me in the box a custom made snow globe, with a couple snowy pictures we took last trip, and a mini scrapbook she made for me, which are both pictures below. (Picture rights to Garnet, as I just got off work and am too tired to take my own pictures, so I'm borrowing hers. :O)

It sounds like everyone had lovely Valentine's Days. I am a little jealous of those lucky few who got to be with their SO that day, but I'm sure that will be me and many others soon enough! We skyped for a couple of hours and opened our presents over that... He got me the underwear I've wanted for ages and I got him another false rose, along with a love letter. Last year, we only had our first kiss (and so officially started being a couple, we decided) a week before Valentine's. So I bought him a fake rose from Ely (where I was staying with family) and gave it to him when I saw him next. So I've kept the tradition. That year he bought me a necklace and a plush puppy, which I still sleep with. ...It needs a bath. ...Anyone know how to wash toys?

Anyway, Gurl, I hope he gets his present soon!
And Zephii, I bet that bath was amazing...
                    Tanja, enjoy the candies! Haha.
PurpleDreamer, I reckon you got the best deal, there. Words are everything. Well, in these relationships they are!
Taija - a week?! How exciting!
archangel, I know how you feel...
lunamea, that sounds like such a lovely day! What's "smilebox", though? It sounds nice...
                    saggitariusgirl, beautiful necklace!!!
Rane - Garnet looks like she put a lot of effort into that! It's beautiful... She must be proud. =]

Taija - A week?!?! *squee* Very happy for you! Hope the week passes quickly!
Sarah - I put mine in the washing machine inside a pillowcase, on cold. If you use white vinegar instead of fab softener it eats the soap so none gets left inside the toy to smell funky ^^
Happily married to the little Canadian boy I never thought I'd meet in person

Rane - The pictures finally loaded for me ^^ That is simply amazing

I got about one and a half bags of Hershey's Hugs. =D Only one full bag would fit in the box, so he opened the second bag and packed in as many Hugs as he could lol. I know Hershey's Kisses would be more appropriate, but I can't help it I just love white chocolate. xD I sent him a box of homemade sugar cookies. =D They arrived in Chicago on Saturday, but the post office didn't deliver it to his college until today... D: I hope they still taste good.

My box came in a couple days late, but it was sure worth the wait!

Opening the box I found this:

The card, surrounded by handmade puffy hearts. I was just wowed by this!
                                The card itself, just beautiful:

Under that, I found a love long stemmed red silk rose. <3

                                The main gift was this:

Rane made me a daily Calendar filled with facts about him, his life, growing up, things I didn't know, things he hasn't told anyone else, it's just amazing. It goes until his expected move to be here in June. All hand written, hand made. No one has ever made me something so special, and put so much thought and effort into a handmade gift.
Oh, and he put more of the puffy hearts he made mixed in with the packing peanuts which is just so neat.
Finally, his mom, she added a gift for my dog Zoe.

How sweet is that? And the perfect fit too.

I also received my monthly love letter today AND a separate letter with a poem Rane wrote me. It was just an overwhelming day.
