There are some really awesome gifts here. Cool idea of the daily fact calendar. I wonder if I could think up enough facts a day about me.

Michelle and I just spent the weekend together. I payed for the hotel, Michelle treated me to a great Valentine's dinner @ a local restaurant. It was a lot of fun.
Thank goodness I got my tax returns, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford to see her.

My Valentine's gift made me laugh. My SO sent me cheese. Yeah, some girls get chocolate. I got cheese! I love cheddar, though! As does he. He loved my favorite when he visited here. So, sent me some from the UK. It's yum! I also got a stuffed Boofle toy, holding a little rose, so (he says) when I want a hug, I can hug it and think of him.

My favorite part was hearing him open his gift. I'd baked two batches of chocolate chip cookies, and he was thrilled to see 120+ cookies all for him! I also sent him a framed photo of the two of us from our trip to Florida in November. Best part, was him reading the letter I enclosed with his card. He got all choked up and teary. It may sound a little twisted, but I kind of feel like I won when I get to him like that! He didn't quite agree that was something to be so happy about.

Oh, sorry, I guess I didn't explain that! *blush* I was under the impression that it is one of the LFAD ideas... perhaps not. Anyway. Smilebox is a freeware program that lets you create personal greeting cards, do slideshows and make scrapbooks from your photos that you can then save to your computer, print, blog, post on facebook or email to your SO for free! They have a lot of beautiful designs and it's so easy to make but still personal! I love it. Check out https://www.smilebox.com

The card, surrounded by handmade puffy hearts. I was just wowed by this!
            The card itself, just beautiful:

Under that, I found a love long stemmed red silk rose. <3

            The main gift was this:

Rane made me a daily Calendar filled with facts about him, his life, growing up, things I didn't know, things he hasn't told anyone else, it's just amazing. It goes until his expected move to be here in June. All hand written, hand made. No one has ever made me something so special, and put so much thought and effort into a handmade gift.
Oh, and he put more of the puffy hearts he made mixed in with the packing peanuts which is just so neat.
Finally, his mom, she added a gift for my dog Zoe.

How sweet is that? And the perfect fit too.

I also received my monthly love letter today AND a separate letter with a poem Rane wrote me. It was just an overwhelming day.
Wow that's amazing! And the dress for your dog: AWWWWWWW!

Is there any way I can simply link to the pictures of yours and Rane's presents, garnet (or as I read it, Sarah)?

We had a bath, too Zephii!

I was visiting him in the hotel his work is paying for during his training. It's a pretty basic hotel, but we upgraded to the honeymoon suite, complete with jacuzzi tub. We filled the bath with red and purple rose petals, surrounded it by candles, and had champagne. Probably the most romantic thing we've ever done together, and we both loved it!

I got a Navy Hoodie (as Kevin is in the Navy and I love his hoodies!) He made me a white polar bear wearing the Navy Dress Whites, and he sent me a feather bed (he has one on his bed and I loved it so he got me my own!) He also sent me a new PS3 controller as last time he was here we spilled Dr. pepper on it (oopsie) and a new PS3 game (yes I'm a nerd) The best part was the card, but everything he sent was very thoughtful and it made me VERY happy, and he liked everything he got also =)

You're welcome! Well, if he hasn't seem them yet, you can just make a "smilebox" for him and surprise him with it!

And by now, I'm getting really envious of people taking romantic bubble baths! We don't even have a bathtub in our apartment and the only time we took a bath together was one time on vacation in an overpriced hotel room and we didn't have candles or rose petals then... *pouts* Well, I'll definitely put this on the list of things we have to do when I get back home!

                      Response:
                      - Zephii, I love baths with George. [TMI, but still... completely romantic.] Definitely a great gift for any time of the year.
                      - Sarah, My mother washes my...lucky stuff dog the same way as Zephii, I think... said? Lol
                      - Gurl, did your show him your website yet? Did I miss something? -- I dislike snail mail, but it does bring joy!

                      - Jackie, you're my dog, yo.
                      - Bluestars, I love the Mickey&Minnie Snowman! I'm a huge Disney fan too! [This shows that Jared pays attention!.. and we thought boys never did.]
                      - Lunamea, Smilebox is one of the best programs. For free, you can make amazing cards, scrapbook, and more! Definitely awesome.

                      - Fish, that is probably one of the best gifts, ever. My mom had to bring my truck in just the other day. I wish George could have done it. Haha.
                      - Rane, I was looking at a snow globe for George! That is so awesome! Her card and book are beautiful. She's very creative!
                      - Sarah, George and I have traditions too! Our anniversary is coming up. I love the rose idea.
                      - Roberta, Dark chocolate is my favorite, but I do enjoy chocolate in any color or form! I wish I could have baked George cookes!
                      - LETAWOOKIEWIN - Jared posted! [That's all I have to say about that.]
                      - Garnet, Rane did great too! You both are so creative. The dog + the dress = CUTE
                      - Frank, being together, near or far, is a beautiful thing. I'm sure Michelle appreciated it!
                      - Seshei, Cheese. Most Random Gift. 120. A lot of cookies.
                      - JoMarie, I love hoodies and playstation! That is very thoughtful!
My Valentine did great and loved my gifts!
I got him an 8x8 hardcover book from Shutterfly.com, which was full of memories, pictures, and quotes. Also, a black apron and a spy book. [He... LOVES spy gadgets!] With it, I made him a card and decorated the box with hearts. I'll have to show the picture I took of it.

He gave me a love letter satchel (along with a laptop sticker!), Lint and Ghardelli chocolate, a handmade wooden picture frame with our picture in it, a love letter in the love letter satchel, and a beautiful card!
                      ...And his love. <3

Of course, I cried. He teared up.
Beautiful day! [Well, the day before... because we were to excited to keep our packages unopened any longer. lol!]

[I need to post our pictures on my 'homepage' on here!]

I got my legs waxed the other day and afterwards my waxer puts this oil on to get rid of all the wax and then puts a hot towel on to get that off. It feels amazing! So I've told Matt that when we get to see each other again (whenever that may be) that I'll give him a body rub. It wasn't sexual at all with the waxer, it just felt so relaxing!!!
