WHAT DID YOU GET FOR VALENTINE'S DAY?

I WAS ACTUALLY THERE!!!! YAY for living in Louisiana and having Mon-Wed off for Mardi Gras!!! I had sent him a package the first week of February. He was suppose to be deployed so I rushed and got a package together (sugar cookies baked and decorated by me, candy, a card, a letter, maybe some other stuff) and the afternoon after I sent it they decided not to deploy him. So he bought my plane ticket, I spent Fri-Thurs with him, and we went out to dinner Sun. No flower, or candy, not even a card, but I think a plane ticket and week with him tops all of that! =D =D

My present arrived a week before Valentines so it was hard not to open it til the day of...but I made it. I got a stuffed animal, and pendant necklace from Verona, Italy and a box of kisses...when it is opened kissing sounds play and a voice (in Italian) says, "Hurry, close this box so the kisses dont get out..they are for you!" So cute and it makes me smile

we just did small presents, but they were fun. he got me a few buttons/pins that were really cute and i sent him a wind up dinosaur toy. we also skyped for several hours. a bubble bath would have been nicer, but those don't happen in college.....

Wow - I'm impressed at all these gifts! Last year I sent my boyfriend a box of weetabix as he can't get it in his country. This year was a bit more romantic, as he is actually here! (woop woop!!) He made me dinner, which was very nice...but I hadn't cleaned the bath...so... we skipped that part.

I got about one and a half bags of Hershey's Hugs. =D Only one full bag would fit in the box, so he opened the second bag and packed in as many Hugs as he could lol. I know Hershey's Kisses would be more appropriate, but I can't help it I just love white chocolate. xD I sent him a box of homemade sugar cookies. =D They arrived in Chicago on Saturday, but the post office didn't deliver it to his college until today... D: I hope they still taste good.

I got the most beauuuuuuuuuuuuuutiiiiiiiful flowers I've ever seen before I got a phone call from the fedex man who was outside my apartment building at like 10:30am and it was a box of flowers!!! I walked back to my apartment with the biggest smile on my face And then instantly fell in love with them when I saw them!!! Oh man...I took pictures...they're on top of my dresser next to the panda we got at the fair last year

my SO and I have never celebrated on Valentine's day. personally i find it just commercial...
now that were LD though, ive sent him a funny Ecard from someecards.com and he sent me love themed stamps along with a letter

my boyfriend is deployed and still somehow managed to make it the best valentines day ever. He sent me a tiffany ring that ive kind of wanted forever. I've always just wanted to own one piece of tiffany just to say that i own a piece i guess and he made that dream come true, and he also named a start after me. and it came with a plaque with the certificate of the star and what not and roses.

I sent him a scrapbook/notebook that has an entry in it for each day starting on valentines day until the day he is supposed to be coming back from his deployment and it has a quote or lyrics that will help lift his spirits. He has also never been to NYC and has been asking to go so i made a "certificate" for us to spend a weekend in the city.

I definately cant wait for him to be home and for us to just be able to spend time together.

Wow! What an amazing gift! I have that same own one piece of Tiffany jewelry dream too lol. I hope mine comes true one day! Do we get pictures of the ring?

I got a ring! No not an engagement ring but sort of like a promise ring.. Unfortunately I had to send it back.. the band was too wide for my small fingers and it wasn't that comfortable to wear at all so I told him that he needed to get me a ring that I can wear it comfortably. He ordered me a new ring last night and of course I had to pick it out because he couldn't find one that wasn't wide and not plain. It is SO PRETTY! I can't wait til it gets here so I can wear it and never take it off! anyways on to him.. I got him a webcam which he loved and that day he took some pictures with it and sent them to me and they were so much better than the camera phone he was using. A few days later he finally got a chance to use the webcam on skype and it was amazing. I have never seen him, like his lips move or anything until the other day and we've been going out for over a year. It was long over due! But anyways, I could not stop looking at him. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time we were on skype.
