Sometimes my friends and I will have some of those "cliche" conversations that are similar to ones that they have on Sex & the City, but they are not very common. I am a very guarded person when it comes to talking about those kinds of things, just because I feel they are personal. I have never straight up told my friends that I lost my v-card--even though some probably inferred when they saw my Cosmopolitan magazine laying around, but I have one friend who told everyone right after it happened. I was kind of like--congrats?! Lol. I am not good at those kinds of conversations!

I used to tell my best friend stuff about my bf and I, but then she said it ALL back to him, to get back at me if she was mad, or if she was pissed off she'd say whatever I said just to be like, 'Guess what Emma-Louise told me..' And it really hurt me, so I try not to tell her anything anymore.. It's just hurtful, not being able to tell one of my best friends about the most important person in my life. And although I have other friends, she's the only one who knows relationships, most of the rest haven't even been kissed. I'd love to tell her, but I just can't anymore.
Although this distance breaks my heart,
And it's unbearable when we're apart,
I know that it will all be fine,
        As my heart is yours,
        And yours is mine.. <3

My best friend doesn't know everything, but I can tell her anything, we just live far apart and don't have enough time to chat. She has her own mind and that's why I like her, she never judges me and always tells me what she thinks and not what I want to hear. We have never argued (we know each other for 10 years). I don't tell her secrets of my boyfriend though, but he doesn't know my best friend's secrets either

I tell my best friend everything. It really helps that we're in similar situations now. Her SO also lives in England too so it's easy to tell her about any problems I might be having. We share everything with each other.

My SO is also my best friend so he knows most everything, but there are a few girly things that I'll only confide to one of my best friends. She knows pretty much everything, with a few exceptions because I also work with her and I don't want to take that chance of anything getting spread around at work. Even though I work in a professional setting, I swear it's like jr. high still some days. While we don't always get as graphic sometimes, we've definitely had some of those types of conversatons

I definitely don't share everything, and wouldn't. And I expect the same in return.

I have a best mate, and we can tell each other everything With that being said, I kind of don't though. Just like we have been talking about his girls, of course we've also been talking about my SO, but always in a very superficial way. Whenever the conversaton starts to revolve around anything sexual or personal for her and me, I get sort of defensive.. I just don't wanna share! ^^ I don't feel like I have to brag about our sexlife (although I have EVERY reason to ) and whatever secrets me and my SO have, they are ours.

There are a lot of things I have not told my best friend about my SO. Some things don't have to be shared.

In the time leading up to when my SO and I started dating -- and immediately afterwards -- I shared a lot of the early developments with my best female friend. Now, however, as my relationship with my SO has grown closer and more intimate, I don't hardly talk about it much with my friend anymore, and instead my SO has taken that defacto position as the one I share the most about myself with. Occasionally, I'll come up across a situation where I'll want a little outside input on how to proceed, but not nearly as much anymore. We have our privacy.
